I have to vent a little. I still have NO internet at our new house! I should have had it today. The guy came to install it as well as out new VOIP phone and digital cable.
First off he called my cell at 930am saying he was outside the house. I was at Superstore because i wasn't expecting anyone until 11am at the earliest. My appointment was booked for 11am-2pm. So i dropped everything and sped home. He was there until 1pm when he was finally able to get the cable for the TV hooked up and going. The phone was working. But he couldn't install all the lines because the one in the kitchen kept shorting out. Fine. We can handle that. The internet was all plugged in ready to go as soon as my account was set up. He said it could be an hour or so so i ddin't worry too much about it. I went out after he left to do the things i hoped to do in the morning before all the crazies were out doing their cottage things. When i got home i was super excited that everything was good to go and i could log on to one wed from the comfort of my own home. But the stupid internet doesen't work! Neither does my home phone now. It worked perfectly fine at 1pm.
So i call the company up with my cell to get some technical help. Maybe i missed somthing along the lines. The guy i am talking to has me un plug everything then plug it back in. Set the reset button. Everything. He could see that it was all set up but had no clue why it wasn't working because it should be. So they say they are going to send over a technition. I'm thinking today.... since i only had my services installed today. But noooooo! I have to wait until Sunday! WTF?! That's the earliest i can get an appointment. I have just about had it with this company. I've been getting the run arround for almost 2 weeks now. The guy who came last monday said he couldn't install anything because the signal wasn't strong enough. But the guy today said he should have been able to do somthing with what we had. I kinda want to call them up and say forget about it i'm going to Bell. But i don't want to do that because i don't like Bell very much, and its less expensive to go with Rogers because we get a massive discount for the number of services we have through them. I'm doing my best to bite my tounge and keep from loosing it on the customer service person. But this is getting WAY out of control!
