I was just wondering if you guys are renting a limo or a car or using your own cars to get from the church to the reception hall. I am thinking about getting my makeup done in town and the only reason i need transportation is to get from to the church and from the church to the reception and i don't really want to use my car. So what should i do and what are you all doing?

We had a limo take me, my parents, and the girls to the church. Then took DH, myself and the BM and GM to the reception.
Be sure to go with a reputable company. Our limo driver was a complete nightmare and we consider ourselves to be lucky we made it there in one peice. The driver was all over the road and ran a light as well. The weather was pretty bad too. He was going so fast the puddles where splashing up above the roof of the car. Then he drove right past the church when we told him it was up on the right and that you CAN'T miss it! So he pulled into a street and proceeded to back up into on comming traffic that he couldn't see. I suddenly didn't care who saw me before the wedding anymore. I just wanted OUT of that car! The ride to the church my aunt followed us and nearly called the cops to have us either given a ride with them or a police escort because he was a mad man behind the wheel!
Just because of that i highly recommend to EVERYONE to go with a well known company and not a friend of a friend who has a limo.

I will be staying at the resort that we are getting married at. I'll have to leave to get my hair and make-up done, but one of my BMs will probably drive me because I don't plan on even having my car there. Justin probably will not have his truck there because one of his friends is driving us to the hotel by the airport after the reception.

Eeeek! I am rather glad that we will be driving ourselves now.

We will be traveling from the ceremony location to the reception on an antique fire truck. I think our ring bear will come with us. Everyone else is just going to drive themselves (it's only a 7 minute drive!)

My sister will probably drive me to the hairdresser in the morning and I will go with my parents to the church. Our feet will be our transportation to the reception, since the ceremony is in the same place :)
Joe will most likely have my car as our "get away" car.

I had one bridesmaid pick the two sils and myself up. We rode tot he hairdresser where we met up with my MOH and mom. I rode with the same group of girls to the church. Sean's bil took him to the church. From the church to the reception we hired a limo that Sean and I rode in. It was the best investment of the day. We had a fabulous time with just the two of us in a totally stress free enviroment. It really allowed us to decompress and get ready for the reception.

Everyone took care of themselves...My niece and I got up showered put on our makeup and went to the salon for my hair to be done....and then we went to the church...I figured they were all grown women and that was one less **** thing I had to worry about!

The limp my uncle got is for me and my fiance to get from the church to the recption which is about 20 minutes away with a short ride be before we get there, and as for the everyone else i guess the cars will do!!

Well if we had the wedding at my sisters place like I had planned we would have all drove ourselves. Well me and Nicholas together and every one else follow in their cars. I had my freind ready to transport my kids for me with her and her husband. But as the weather stopped it from being outside we had the ceremony at the reception site so no one had to drive any where.

We rented a 19 passenger coach and the whole BP rode together. But both the condition of the vehicle and driver turned out to be horrendous, luckily we got a pretty hefty refund.

I've been wondering the same thing actually..... I wanted to do something different, nothing rediculous but just something different.
I'm in a wedding in a couple of weeks and the bride is have us picked up at 530am to go to the hair dresser, then driving us around ALL DAY!!!!!!!!!!! Not to mention the picture sights are all over Toronto. For those of you who don't know, Toronto is the biggest city in Canada and she has us going from one end to the other with MANY stops in between!!! I'm glad i'm not paying.
But I wanted something different then a limo. I was thinking of a nice car or something, cause we're not goign to be in it for long. Maybe a limo for after the pics and arriving at the reception but I don't know!!!

MY father has a 1950 ford and he will be bringing me to the wedding in the truck and also bringing me and my FH to the reception. I like the idea of a antique vehicle for a little twist instead of the standard limo.

Jonathan and I are going for a Limo to take us from the church to the reception and from the reception to our hotel... we dont want to worry about cars or anything. My MOH is picking us up the next day and returning his tux and taking care of my dress... my parents or MOH will take me to the church... my dress will already be there.
