Our song is " I want o grow old with you" By Adam Sandler. The song her sings to Drew Barrymore at the end of The Wedding Singer. It is so us. we are goofy and best friends.

Our song has no words .... it's the instrumental theme song from the movie "On Golden Pond".

We had a conversation when we first met about where we would like to be in the future. We both realized that we were on the same page when we both said that we wanted a rustic log home on the water, a creative business, kids & grandkids visiting ...... and we both mentioned the movie as an example of the kind of lifestyle that we would like.

I have already started calling him my "old poop" :)

We had a "first dance song" and we have "our song". our song is one that always makes us smile and reminds us of our first trip out of town together. It might embarrass some but to us it was hilarious. It is "She wants a pearl necklace" by ZZ Top. As old as I am i never knew what the lyrics stood for. :bbredface: He explained them to me and we had a long long laugh over how I had sung this for years without knowing it's meaning. So everytime we hear this song i blush.

We were on our way back from our short honeymoon trip and the Dierks Bentley song came on...Eric started singing it and when it came to the last verse:
