This is the newest wedding show on TLC. I have watched every episode, and the positive side of it lies in the fact that you get four different perspectives on four different weddings, which can be interesting/useful when planning your own wedding! Though, in my opinion, it's not a fair competition since there is often such great variance in budget. The idea is that there are four brides who attend each others weddings, and then they rate the wedding. The winner gets a paid for honeymoon. Almost ALWAYS the one who wins is the one who had the biggest budget to have the "best" wedding.
Has anyone else seen this show? What do you all think of it?

I've seen this show. And yes I liked it because as you have stated you get to get a bunch of new ideas. However like you, I think it sucks that the "biggest" budget ALWAYS wins. I think they should group 4 brides who have the same budget and who live near each other. Prices for things change so much depending on where you live. Example: $10,000 can get you really far in a small place like Iowa (random state I chose), however $10,000 in San Francisco, CA is an extremely tight budget.

I've seen it and have to say I really dislike it, find it offensive even: reinforcing the implicit idea that weddings are a competition. I'd rather stick to this board for wedding ides ;)

Or maybe if they overall "capped" the budget so that the person who wins really NEEDS that free honeymoon! I don't see how you spend $80K on a wedding and then can't afford a honeymoon. I saw an episode with a very cute young couple, 19 and 18 years old, and I was really pulling for them because I knew they couldn't afford the honeymoon, but of course they lost to the bigger budget bride.

The victor gets a paid for wedding. about forever the one who wins is the single who had the main finances to have the good wedding. Iwill see it and have to speak I actually hate it find it nasty even reinforce the understood idea that weddings are a rivalry. I quite attach to this plank for wedding ides

I agree this show does not seem fair. The episode I viewed the girl with the Greek Chic wedding did not win, she had the biggest budget. The girls scoring her called her dress generic and did not understand Greek Culture, she came in second. It would be nice to have the girls more evenly matched according to budget and style.

I love this show! I do agree about the budgets though - it should be similar brides in similar areas being paired up so everyone has an equal chance

I'm not offended by it, but the show doesn't interest me for much the same reason.
