Does anyone have any recommendations other than David's Bridal in the New England (Mass and NH) area for separates?
Also, maybe some Northern NJ recommendations as the engagement party is there in Sept. and all the bridesmaids will be around at that time? I don't want them to have to spend a lot :)
THANKS!!!!

Check some of the larger department stores...like Macy's, Dillards, Filene's, etc. They have formal dress departments that have gowns and seperates.
Also, see if there is a Group USA in either of those areas. Their prices are great and they have tons of formal attire!
You don't always have to go to a bridal shop to find wonderful dresses for bridesmaids!!
Hope this helps! :D

I know that Alfred Angelo has a nice selection of reasonably priced seperates. Go to www.alfredangelo.com There you can search for stores by region see if they carry his collections.

I have girls from every where. One is from Australia 3 of them are here near me and one in Ohio and one in Maine. So what i did was pick the style of dress i wanted for them bought a sample of the color ( they are all wearing different colors ) and bought a pattern of the dress to send to them. They are having their dresses made. If they find a dress like it they want to buy it is up to them. After all this is a simple wedding and if they have them made they may all be a little different because different people will be making them all. And an added plus that all the girls went for........ because the wedding is an outside wedding the girls are going barefoot. With 6 different colors and the girls being from all over shoes would be a nightmare to try to get all the same. The girls all loved the idea.

Why do their shoes need to match anyhow? (Just a question...not trying to sound rude...but I didn't know how to word that so it wouldn't...sorry!) Everyone that was in my wedding party was wearing different shoes and did their own thing. My MOH was wearing flat sandals (because she is so tall), and I think the other two opted for flip flops. I wasn't paying any attention to shoes so I have no idea what they wore....lol. Which I am sure neither will your guests....but its not like it really is a worry because you said they opted to go barefoot. That will be neat, but you should have a back up plan....in case the weather doesn't co-operate.

I draw the line at shoes. Everyone gets to pick there own shoe, as long as it's cute  All women can't carry off various heels, and you want them to be comfortable. I was in a wedding 2 years ago, 3 BM (we all wore the same gowns),1 MOH (wore a different dress), and a Matron(also in something completely different), and we all wore the same shoes. Can I just say OUCH! Well the MOH and I went shopping the night before the wedding a pick up the ballet slippers. After the photo we were in our slippers loving life, while the others were barefoot and uncomfortable.
