Question: Flowers in hair matching bouquet??

This may get confusing so please bare with me. Our wedding colors are all shades of purple and white. Each of my BMs are all wearing a different dress in a different shade of purple. I thought in order for their flowers to pop it would look really nice for them to carry white floral bouquet. Purple dress white flowers, it'll totally pop!! Plus, I was going to have the girls also wear white shoes so it'll match their white flowers really well. It'll all tie in together well.

Then for me, I'd carry a purple bouquet so it'll really stand out against my white/ivory dress. Now everything was all fine with this until I realized.. I want a white flower in my hair.. Would it look weird with a white flower in my hair while I carry purple flowers?? Should I make that a purple flower instead?? Or should I just change it to white flowers in hair with white floral bouquet?? Or perhaps even make my bouquet have a mix of purple and white in it so I can wear the white flower too?? Eeeek!! Sometime please help!! Any photos would also be great. Thank you!!

Not confusing at all. I would go with the Purple Bouquet as originally planned. It'll look great with everything else. As for the flower in your hair. Why not have one Purple and one White. (Oops now i've confused things even further lol)

I don't think it really matters if it matches the Bouquet. And i certainly wouldn't go changing your original Bouquet over one (Possibly two) flowers in your hair.

If you want to stick with one flower then i'd go White then it shows against your hair colour.

I say go for the white flower with the purple bouquet. The white will pop against your hair more than purple! :) I've seen pictures of brides wearing white fascinators or flowers in their hair with all different colors of bouquets. It looks good!

I think you should do it as you originally planned. I think the white flower in the hair will look very elegant and the purple bouquet will pop nicely. I actually think it would look a little weird if you wore a purple flower in your hair, but that's just me.

Your flower will match your dress, and your bouquet will match the rest of your wedding. I don't see it clashing. Besides, the point about your dark hair and white flower is dead on. I don't think purple would look right.

So yeah, go for it :D

Personally since you hair so dark, I don't think the purple flower will be noticeable so I say go with a white in the hair.

And carry your original bouquet.

I am very detail orientated. I nit pick over everything when I plan things. My parties are so so so detailed people are always blown away at how much time and effort I put into everything. I just can't half a$$ anything, it eats me up if I don't give it my 100%. I know, I'm weird.

And thank you for bringing up the fact that I have darker hair which will make the purple not as noticeable. I never even thought about that aspect. You are correct, a white flower will def. POP in my hair. :yesnod::yesnod:

i would stick with your original plan... if it bothers you that much i would have your florist put a few white flowers in your boquet.. but either way im sure youll look stunning!

I have worn a white flower in my hair and also carrying a white bouquet.

I do not think that there is unusual but why I am the only one who has voted for this :bbeek:
