MODERATED: POSTED IN WRONG FORUM AND REMOVED -
Since we have had so much trouble with various types of spam lately, we have set a new rule that new members cannot post in the Announcements and Opportunities forum or any of it's sub-forums at all.
Once new members have posted in other areas a while and become a "Trusted member" showing that they want to be a part of the community, they will gain access to post in this forum.
So if any new member is found posting inappropriate topics elsewhere on the board they will be seen as a spammer trying to get around this rule. The posts in question will be removed and the user will be subject to removal from the community.
It should also be said that even when one has gained access to the appropriate forum for promos they should not abuse the forum. Promo posts should be PERIODIC and members are expected to remain active in other areas of the community as well so they are not mistaken as only here for promos. Abuse of our forums will be dealt with accordingly.
The original post belongs in a forum that new members don't have access to. It is a good idea for new users to familiarize themselves with the rules of the community and/or specific forums before they start posting.
It is also customary for new members to introduce themselves before posting; especially when they want to promote something (even a bridal show), share a website, post about a sell or trade or whatever it is; otherwise you might be mistaken for some sort of spammer with ulterior motives for being here.
