My MOH has my best friend. Our moms were friends in school and she and I grew up together. I'm an only child and she has two younger brothers. We are about as close as natural sisters could be. I couldn't have imagines another person in the world standing up there with me.

I put best friend, but she is one of my best friends and a high school friend. I had a hard time choosing my MOH. It was a toss up between her and on of my other BMs.
Tracy, my MOH has been my friend since we were 14, so about 10 years. We went to different high schools, but they were close together. We were also in the Liberty County 4-H Mounted Drill Team together and we also rodeod together.
Tiffany actually went to day care with me. I've known her for 20 years. We were best friends (I still consider her and Tracy as my best friends, both equal), but I moved away in junior high. We still kept in touch, but didn't see each other that often. When we graduated high school she was my roommate at school for one semester, but she got pregnant and got married. Since then we talk on the phone and see each other every once in awhile. It is just hard to find the time with distance, school, work, and her having 2 kids now to see each other.
I ended up selecting Tracy because Tracy lives closer and has more free time to help me out when needed. She also does not have the responsibility of 2 small children, though she is pregnant now. She is also not going through a bad time in her marriage either like Tiffany is. It was a hard choice. I haven't talked to Tiffany about why I made the choice, but I don't know if it bothers her or not. I love them both equally.

She is my younger sister (she will be 16 when I get married). We have become a lot closer lately & I knew that I couldnt pick anyone else. I also asked my 2 FSIL's to be bridesmaids & they have said that they would help out with a lot of things b/c of her age.

We're best friends but we consider ourselves sisters. When we get cards and stuff like that, it always says sister on it. To be completely honest, I voted best friend though.

Let's see that is a tough one. My daughter was my MOH. So it all depends on how her teenage mood is as to whether we get along or not. :) We had a wonderful time together shopping and everything else that MOH's do. So glad I asked her.

Thanks. I think so too but heck, I am Mom so I am biased. The pic was taken this June; high school grad.
Where did all the years go?! Most all of the other parents looked much older than me. I am just too young to have a daughter finishing high school.

My MOH is my FH sister. She is 17, 5 years younger than me. W e had never really had much to talk about befor this and I wanted to get to know her. So I thought this would be a good opportunity for us to become close. Plus I don't have very many close girlfriends, I have moved alot, so I didn't think I had anything to loose. It started off rough, but it was worth it. We are very close now, and she has opened up to me about a lot of things that she needed to talk about like sex, boys, drugs, drinking, typical 17 year old stuff, but things she COULD NOT disscuss with her parents. I have told my FH everything and he is so happy his sister has a safe person to talk to. Ithink this gave us an opportunity to build a foundation for a life long relationship.
