I hardly ever wear makeup, but I do have it for when I do. Most of the stuff I own is Clinique. My mother wears Clinique so I always just wore it too. But my mother in law uses Lancome and she gave me some Lancome mascara which works pretty good. But now I'm out of concealer. So should I go with Clinique, Lancome, or another brand?

Do you like the Clinique concealer you were using? If yes, I'd just stick with what you know. But you can always go to the makeup counters and try a bunch of different ones and see if there's one you like better. :)

I do think the Clinique did an alright job. But the thing is, I got that concealer about 5 years ago so I'm sure it all has changed.

I like Physician's Formula, or Avon.

But if you are used to one brand then I'd probably stick with that. Or like Gwen said, so to the makeup couter and try some stuff.

I'm a big fan of Smashbox and Shiseido. They're all natural so they don't cause breakouts, etc if you sweat through your makeup. Which I do all the time here because it's so hot! I currently have Smashbox concealer and liquid foundation and Shiseido mineral veil and powder. I alternate depending on what my skin is looking like. ;)

But, if you liked the Lancome stuff, it's a good brand too from what I've heard. Maybe go to the makeup counter and ask for a consultation. Most of the time, they'll let you try out whatever you want and you can score some freebies out of it too. Lots of makeup counters hand out samples so you can try something to see if you like it!

A while ago I bought some Mary Kay foundation. It was really expensive, but has GREAT coverage, so I use that as concealer. It really works great!

I'm fairly frugal and hate spending a lot of money on makeup - although it would be nice.

I just use Covergirl but most of my other makeup is Covergirl as well.

I love maybelline liquid mousse...it isn't super expensive and last a long time without looking shiny!
