Hey, I'm looking for someone who is good at drawing to draw me a very simple picture of how I am imagining my wedding cake to look so I can take that picture to the different bakeries. I'm horrible at drawing so I obviously can't do it. If someone likes to draw and wouldn't mind doing it for me I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

Sounds like fun! How bout explaining it in detail and seeing what our girls can come up with here?

Ok, I'm going to try to post pics but I'm not sure it will work. I want a square cake probably 2 or 3 layers. The cakes would have a white icing on them with a black ribbon on the bottom of each layer. Then on the white part there would be swirly design in white icing. Then between the layers would be real red roses. Then on top is a few red roses with a monogramed cake topper.

If the pictures work:

Scan #1: This is the basics of what I want my cake to look.

Scan #2: This has the additional details I want. I want the layers to be at different angles. Also this picture has the design in the white icing that I want. Plus it has the cake stand and topper idea I want too.

I didn't realize how small the photos are. Sorry.

Sounds lovely! So do you want the tiers staggered or aligned all the same? The first pic they're aligned, second pic they're staggered.

Staggered I think. I really like the look of it. I'm not 100% on the staggered look if anyone thinks it would look better aligned.

Here's a couple ideas I found - the first one obviously needs black not purple ribbon, and a few roses thrown in :)

Little color swap here...

Mine was staggered square - but if you're a perfectionist I think it's hard to get the 'perfect' staggered look, IMO. I think it looks gorgeous either way

OMG, these are perfect! Thanks so much! Do you have any pics of staggered cakes?

I just found this one - it isn't the color combo you're looking for but it'd be easy to modify in a description...

And here's mine with the staggered look: (That ribbon is made from icing - might want to talk to your cake person 'bout that!)
