Well..
To each there own but I planned my sister's wedding and we played:

Mr. Boombastic: For the groom throwing the garter
(@ my wedding they played "Im too Sexy" for our garter toss.)

For my sister throwing the boquet: We played "Isn't She Lovely"

When the guy who caught the garter put it on the lady who caught the flowers: We played "Nobody" by Keith Sweat

After my sis and her hubby had their first dance we played "Everybody Dance Now!" (and it worked LOL!:))

We did The Chicken Dance, The Macarena, and YMCA and alot of people, esp. the kids danced to all of them!

My sis wanted us to play Electric Slide so we did that 1 as well. (That was pretty popular)

And.. 1 more song everyone loved was "Play that Funky Music White Boy"!

*Hope I helped some!

Some popular and fun songs to play in these spots are:

- “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” by Cyndi Lauper as the bride is about to throw the bouquet, then 'It's Raining Men' after the catch ;)

- “The Stripper“ song for the garter removal and “Lets get ready to rumble“ just before the actual toss. Then 'I'm too sexy' after the catch.

Then “Oh Yeah” by Yello, from the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Of” when the garter is put on the leg of the girl that caught the bouquet (if you do that)

Yeah I would think that is what that means ;)

For the cake cutting how about - “When I'm 64” by The Beatles, and “How Sweet It Is …” by James Taylor or Marvin Gaye are good for the actual cutting part. Then for the sharing/feeding part, “Eat It” by Weird Al Yankovic, the “Mission Impossible” theme, or the “Jeopardy Theme” songs are fun.

For the introduction I like 'Celebration' I forget who did that song, or the Elvis one I forget who did that too  Maybe ask your DJ :)

I was going to say How sweet it is (To be loved by you) by James Taylor also
or How sweet it is by Michael Buble for the cake songs. :)

Queen: Another one bites the dust

U2: Beautiful Day

Katrina and the Waves: Walking on Sunshine

We didn't play a song when we were introduced. We just walked in. No one seemed to notice. But at the same time we walked in and did our first dance right away so to not interupt the flow of the party. We didn't play one when we cut the cake either. After our first dance we just walked over and cut the cake. That way, it coul dbe being cut in the kitchen while everyone ate dinner then served right when dinner was over. We didn't do the garter or bouquet thing either. We don't have any single friends left.

"Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper for the bouquet toss.

"Girls, Girls, Girls" by Motley Crue for the garter toss.

At least that's what mine is so far lol. I can come up with a lot more though! So its gonna be a hard decision. I like Madonna's "True Blue" too.
