Well I had felt bad about not starting one of these because I didnt really want to start it until I had pics, but since Gwen is just now getting around to doing hers maybe no one will notice how late I am with mine!
Some of you know that I was disappointed on how the ceremony turned out. How rushed and thrown together it felt after 9 months of planning. Apparently Im the only one that noticed anything. I was happy with how the reception turned out. Becky provided me with so many pics and the lights all around and the candles outside made our reception very romantic. (Also pretty relaxing, because I didnt worry about all the people at my house like I thought I would!) We had a rough start leaving for the honeymoon with it being Mother's Day, and newlywed or not, I was spending a little time with my children! The little B & B was awsome. We want to go back so bad and everytime we get stressed, we ask if when we are going back. Im still trying to get pics for yall, I do have some from the honeymoon, but they arent in photobucket yet. The rest I will get to you as soon as possible.
Now, for after the wedding...............To be honest Im not sure what I was expecting. Things for the most part havent changed. The only things that have is that we are more connected, more in tune with each other. We have had our disagreements, but those have been based on miscommunications, and in turn brought up demons from our pasts. We have had a looonnnnggg talk about all of that since then and we have worked through those issues. Hes never been with someone that will actually work on a relationship and neither have I. I told him that every minute we spend angry at each other, is one less minute we get to be happy together.
Its been fun talking about our future and what we want and how we are going to make it happen. Being a single mom for so long, Id never visualize more than what I knew I could obtain. Hes been patient with me while I work through my fears with this.
He said he feels more of a connection with the kids now too because we are married. Now hes not just my BF, but he IS their dad. Theyve gotten to where they will go to him more when they have a question or need help with something. He likes it because he says it means they are trusting him more.
Ive had fun trying to get the house back in order from the kids being home all day this summer and from Keilee being here. Hopefully I can get it finished this weekend and that way we have the last week beofre school starts to make sure everything ready.
You know......I know Im married now, but there are tims when Im driving down the road, or reading a book or something and I look at my wedding ring and its like it hits me all over again "OMG----we ARE married!!!!!" I wonder how long it take for that to go away?????

I fgured the longer we were together the more routine things would become, but they definitely havent. Everyday Im so excited to go home to my husband. I cant wait to walk in the door and see him. I hate letting go of him in the mornings so we can start getting ready for work. We talk twice a day at least during the week. I call him when I get to work (He has to be at work by 8, me at 9), and he calls me when he gets home for lunch (I get mine 12-1, and he gets his 1-2). If something happens and we cant talk, it just messes up our entire day.............
I know I sound really sappy and stupid, but I never knew it was supposed to feel like this. I really do have the man of my dreams. Even when I want to choke him, I still want to kiss him at the same time!!!

I'm right there with you...I HATE slipping out of his arms in the morning and he calls me at Noon, at 530 (on his break) and then at 800 (on his lunch)...he gets home at 1150-1200 and I curl up next to him and sleep like a baby! I love staring into his eyes and for once in my life I feel like I am the most loved, protected and prettiest woman alive!
You get all mushy darling, I'll be right there in line wiff ya!

I drink beer, I'm just picky about the ones that I drink. But it is definately a no on the whiskey. My first real hangover that lasted two **** days was on Chivas Scotch. I haven't been able to stomach anythign whiskey related since 1997.

Regular martinis are definately an acquired taste. And I have never been able to do a proper gin martini to this day. I would rather slurp turpentine. But if you dress up the martini, they are pretty good.

Oooooh Wedding Journal from Cindy!
I can't wait to hear about everything! lol!
I hate it when Mark leaves in the morning. I hate it when i have to wake him up to say good bye. I never want him to leave because i know it will be soooo long before i get to see him again. I love it when he comes home at night and curls arround me when i'm asleep. It feels so safe when he's there next to me.

Well Brian and I escaped from the zoo every chance we got this past weekend. My oldest passed his First Aid and CPR courses so now he can leaglly babysit. Since he owes us money from a stunt he pulled a few months ago (he broke a window), right now the babysitting is free. ***And before you bust out the chairs on me, this was his idea, not ours. Hes tired of losing his allowance every week.*** We just took a couple of hours here and there. Might not have been much, but it meant the world to us. The margaritas knocked me on my butt Friday night (which my he thinks is just hilarious!!!!) and got him Saturday night....it was sooooo fun!!!!!!:drunk:

Brian and I spent a lot of time talking over the weekend and we touched base on the wedding day issues Ive been carrying around with me. Ive felt like the wedding was a disaster because of all the stuff that went wrong. He finally convinced me (sorta) that nobody noticed anything but us. And anyone who might have noticed knew we were doing everything ourselves so they cut us some slack. Ok.....Im letting that one go.......
Our reception was awsome. That really turned out great. It was relaxing and romantic and fun and......well it was perfect. **Becky, your night wedding pics helped me soooooo much!!!! Thank you**
We had a rough start getting off on the honeymoon, but when we got there, it was perfect too. We had sooo much fun. Taking the boat out on the water and drinking wine while watching the sunset is a memory I wont soon forget.
All of this seems like it was a lifetime ago and its hard to believe it hasnt even been 3 months.............
Im getting anxious about the pics though. I saw some that a friend still had on her camera and they were great. She said she was getting me a copy of them, but I havent seen them yet. Im hoping we can get some stills off the DVD once we get it back................

:censored: Im going to end up beating the sh*t out of Brian ex GF if I ever get my hands on her. When they split up, she traded him a pickup for a little car. He had the truck transfered into him name but she never transfered the car into hers. We got a letter saying that Brian owes for some parking tickets in Florida from March. Brian has never even been to Florida. The tickets are on that car. SHe had it registered in March in Texas and we are trying to figure out how she did that without insurance in his name or a letter signed by him saying its ok. She has neither unless she forged a letter. My poor husband is worried what else she might have racked up in his name.
Nobody screws with my husband and gets away with it, except for ME!!!!!!

Yeah that was my idea too, BUT if she does still have the title where he signed it over to her last year, then he could get in trouble for filing a false report to a peace officer.
ikkin510
08-09-2006, 05:38 PM
Ok, I don't know much about this subject, so I may be wrong. But If the title is now signed into her name then can't Brian explain that to the state of Florida? I mean, if it's in her name, she should be in trouble for not re-registering it. I thought all that got done when it was signed over though.
Sorry, I'm confused. I hope this all works out for ya. I like the idea of just going and taking the darn thing!

Well that problem we believe is fixed. He got the word out to her step-dad that if the car wasnt put in her name in a week, then he was going to go pick it up. She showed up yesterday with papers from the vehicle registration office for him to sign so that she could go do that. We are going to give it a few days and check.
All we have to do it write a letter to the place in Florida and tell them that he sold the car last year and give them her name and address.

Wow, I guess that I am really luck in this repsect. I have never had to deal with any of Sean's ex's. I have never met any of them. He has never mentioned any of them. In out little world, they don't exist.
As for me. I haven't had any contact with any ex's on my own accord. I had one call my cell on 9-11 for obvious reasons, he lived in DC and I lived in Pittsburgh. The sum of that conversation was, are you all right. Yes, you? Have a nice day.

Things have been stressful around here lately. Well I guess I need to be honest and say that most of the stress is mine.
I lost my job on the 10th and wasnt expecting that. My boss accused me of "skimming" money. Shes going to have a fun time proving that. Not only is she a Real Estate agent, shes also a general contractor. She has 2 custom homes and 2 remodels going on right now. She gets periodic "draws" from the bank on the new homes, based on where shes at on contruction. Well shes still got bills to pay and no money. She spent it on other stuff not related to the house it was supposed to go for. She transfered some onto other accounts (which her CPA says is legal), she bought meals, gas, paid office bills, office payroll, etc. I even printed up the reports showing her where the money was. She got a letter about a week before she let me go from the IRS and had me pulling up old tax info boxes. I think shes about to get audited. (Personally I think she needs to be!) SHes gotten herself into a bind and she needs to blame somebody. She had even called Brian and asked him questions. He told her if I had done something it would be documented. She then admitted that she hadnt gone over all the paperwork yet. He told her to take a look at it and let him know what she found. That was the 11th, and we havent heard from her since. We think because I basically told her what I thought about the whole situation (AFTER I was let go, of course!!!) that she wanted to try and stir up trouble between me and Brian. Didnt work. They talked for about 30 minutes and she changed her story 3 times. I dont think she was prepared for me to have told him everything that I did. He told me he didnt care if she called kissing my a$$, I was NOT going back to work for her.
So, now Ive had a hard time finding another job. This is going to put us in a real financial pickle. Maybe not as bad as Im thinking it will. My husband has been great. Together we have come up with all kinds of way to save money and help out. He has a lot of extra "toys" that he says we can sell. I kinda balked at that idea, but the stuff hes talking about he doesnt use anyway. He said hes been wanting to unload some of it, just couldnt get motivated to do it. He said maybe he was supposed to hold onto it until now. I still feel bad. I feel like a burden on him and he just loves me too much to say it. (Good news is the house has been cleaner this past week and a half than it has been in a loooonnngggg time!!!!)
Next.......my worthless pice of :censored: ex has decided to start calling again. Why? Cant really tell unless its to terrorize the kids. Hes acting like theres absolutely nothing going on, but........hes in violation of his probation for not paying his child support at all since we went to court June 1st. He was also arrested for possession of meth about 3 weeks ago. (FYI - the probation hes on is for child support and child support only. They dont care what he does, what kinds of laws be breaks, etc., they just care about the money.) Hes not fixing to step up and be a dad. Kids have acted totally indifferent about the calls. I dont have time for this right now................
Please, someone tell me its going to get better.

I was worried about you, I knew something was up. It will get better! It sounds like it already has. Your husband loves you and you need to get that "burden" sh*t out of your head, I did the same thing to Eric and he point blank told me that he loved me, he wasn't stupid and if he didn't want me more than anything on this earth I wouldn't be his wife....same goes for you lucy!
Clean your house, save money, have fun staying at home, hold a huge yard sale and do it the Martha Stewart way (if you havent used, touched, worn or thought about it in a year (seasonal items excluded) SELL IT! One you will make money, and two you will have a gorgeously organized and CLEAN house that will relieve about 50% of stress (or at least organization does for me).
I love you and you need to PM with your address so I can stay in touch with you....a note from a friend when you least expect it works WONDERS to lift your day. Oh and use this time off to exercise (I know you said you wanted to lose weight)! Not that you need it JMO, but walking and exercising relieves stress too!

Awwww...yall are all so sweet! I dont really think I have to worry about the ex and the boss.
I have a 2nd interview with a vets office tomorrow that I have really good feelings about but even if i dont get it, theres a temp position in town that I can work a few days a week while still looking for a job. Its in housekeeping at an assisted living facility, but Hey, at least I will be bringing in a little money until i find something else.
Brian has a tendancy to be a tad hard to get along with when hes stressed and trust me, this should definitley have him stressed, but hes been great. I mean to the point of almost being overly sweet and attentive. My 1st thought was he was trying to ward me off from having a nervous breakdown. :bbeek:
Anyway yesterday afternoon, I had gotten the news about the 2nd interview, he had told me about the housekeeping thing, and I still had a hard time getting my hopes up. Basically I was having a pity party for 1. Anyway he was telling me how everything was going to be ok, how everthing that has come up has been handled, just like I had told him it would. He said what helped him was me reminding him there was more than 1 option to most problems. I realized then that I was being a complete moron. I needed to break the tension, so I looked at him with a strange look (well the best I could muster) and said "Well I'll be damned." He asked what. I told him Lacey's idea actually worked. He asked what idea that might be. I told him that I had been dissolving Midol in his coffee every morning and it really was making him easier to get along with. :bblol: I thought he was going to spit his beer across the kitchen. He asked me if I had really been doing that and I told him sure. I asked him if hes noticed its been a while since hes had Pissy Mood Syndrome. I showed him my bottle of Midol and said "See? It says its great for PMS!" :bbmrgreen: We has a good laugh about it and had a nice evening together, even though Dallas beat New Orleans in the preseason game last night. :censored: BUT.........right after we got in bed, he rolled over and snuggled up to me and asked me if I had really been putting Midol in his coffee. I think I fell asleep laughing!!!!!!!

Hey Cindy, I haven't been able to get on much lately, but was just reading up on your job situation. Sorry to hear about that. Maybe it was all for the better anyway.
And love the Midol thing. I may have to use that someday when my mother comes to stay for a few days.

Thanks yall. Im really excited!
I have to go get scrubs today, since thats what I have to wear to work. No biggie, actually as my mom has a ton of them and since she no longer works in the medical field nor any plans to go back, she going to give them to me.
Dinner was really good last night. We were so tired last night that we were in bed by 9:30. AF is here and I was cramping so we had to keep the celebrations with just dinner.:(

Well Im totally and completely exhausted and I love every minute of it!!!!
I worked this morning for half a day and while I did work my butt off, it was great! Then this afternoon I met my mom over at the new waterpark 15 minutes away for the kids to have fun before they close it for the season. I am sunburned a little and my legs are soooo sore from walking up those **** stairs to the top of the slides:buck: but I had fun with the kids and my mom.
I get home and my wonderful husband has me order pizza so I dont have to cook........

Well my kids think I have the most awsomest job in the world. I like it, I o work my butt off, but I do really enjoy the job. It was funny on my first daym because it came out that 2 of the vets and the tech know my dad. They worked with him on a ranch about 10 years ago. :bblol: I was teased a little about it, but it wasnt mean or anything.
The only thing Im having a hard timw with is the drive. Im used to driving 5 miles down the road and now its 35, but its not in a lot of traffic, so I guess it could be a lot worse.

Well I still love my job. I see sooo much stuff. I get to watch the surgeries and stuff if theres no one calling or coming in. The other receptionist/secretary is great. We make the best team. I have gotten to see miracles and I have gotten to witness some of the saddest stuff ever. Its hard for to see people having to make the decision to decide to put their animals to sleep. It humbles me.
I get home about 2 hours later than I used to, and my husband has stepped up and shown me how awsome he really is. He has taken on half (if not more) of the household duties. He really is the greatest!!!!
The money is VERY good. My days are sooo busy that I dont really realize that Im working WAY more hours than I used to. But come payday :bbeek: ....WOW!!!!

I off today and slept till 10:30 and it felt GREAT!!!!!! Now of course I did get up for about 30 minutes to get my husband and kids off to work and school.
Im always wanting to check in with all of yall, but after I get home and relax a bit, "sleepy" takes over. Actually "sleepy" has taken over several areas of my life. Brians too, so I dont feel quite so bad.
Weve got a decent routine going on and that definitely helps. We have only had one little issue but it was resolved pretty quick. By the time I get home in the evenings, Brian has already been here for about an hour and a half. When I walk in, hes through "relaxing" and hes ready to get stuff done around here. HELLO????? Im fixing to take my tired a$$ OUTSIDE (for 12 hours Im inside, whether it be in an office or my jeep) and sit down for a few minutes. Maybe even take an alcoholic beverage with me. Well Brian has started coming straight in from work and doing his bill paying, financial, and/or online stuff that he used to save until last. Hes about through with it when I get home, so then we chill a bit and talk about our days.
Ok, I know what Ellen has been up to:) , but what about the rest of yall?
