Tell us the most exciting places you've ever traveled to so far in life. I have 3 that are the most exciting for me. The first and probably best so far was St. Martin and St. Thomas in the Caribbean. Second would be New York City. I traveled there when I was 15. We went with a school group and we went inside the World Trade Center. That's kind of eerie. Next would have to be Las Vegas. My mother took me there for my 21st b-day.

Never been too many places. Once we go I will say Jamaica, but for now it will have to be Moab, Utah. We rafted the Colorado River last summer and it was a blast. Gorgeous red rock down there too.

I haven't really been to a lot of cool places but when I was a sophomore in high school ('01), our choir went to Disney World and performed on the Tomorrowland Stage in the Magic Kingdom. That was the second time I've been to FL.

Last summer me and my kids flew to California. We stayed a week and went to Disneyland and Disneys California Adventure. 1st time any of us had been on a plane. It was fun although I felt like I was on another planet. And everyone thought I talked funny!!!
We didnt get to do anything like that this year and it kinda bummed me out.

I went to Italy for vacation my senior year of highschool. Venice, Varese, and Milan. Also went somewhere in Switzerland. I would love to go back. I've been to every state in the US except for Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, NH, and vermont. We did a lot of traveling when I was a kid.

I have never been out of the US, never really been much of anywhere too exciting in my life. The most exotic place I've ever been was when we went to Nassau, Bahamas for a day on our honeymoon cruise.

Aside from the honeymoon, we've vacationed on various beaches in Florida. But I love Florida and still haven't seen everything ... I want to move there one day ;)

I would love to be able to take my kids every summer to do something really really cool. Last year was the 1st year we had ever done anything like that. I couldnt really afford it, but I had help with expenses. I just remeber our summer vacations when I was growing up and would like to be able to give my kids memories like that.

I forgot to mention. I went to Space Camp when I was in the fifth grade. That was pretty cool.

I haven't been very many places either. Moved from ND out to Seattle about 10 years ago. That seemed very adventerous and exotic to me at the time. The only other city that I'd spent any time in at all was Winnipeg. Since then we've rented a house in Florida and spent one New Year's in Vegas.

I wish this quest would have been asked in 3 months. The I'd be able to say England, Wales, France and Denmark!

Denmark, loved living their.. One of the most relaxing places I have been ever!
I'll have to PM you L3vi! Maybe you can suggest your favorite places. We're going to spend a week there for our honeymoon...and all we know so far is that we definitely want to see Skagen.

Paris, Brussels, and Luxembourg. My grandparents took me for Valentine's weekend (yes, weekend, I definitely don't recommend it lol!) in h.s. Great time, great food, great shopping. I love Europe.

We travelled a lot when I was little. I have pretty much covered the eastern 1/3 of the US.

As for foreign travel, my dad loves the Carribbean and Central America. So we hit those a lot: Puerto Rico, Antigua, St. Lucia, Venuzela, The Virgin Islands, Panama, Mexico. In high school we went to Canada, Spain and France. And, in college France and Italy. For our honeymoon we went to the Bahamas.

Of all of those the South of France is my absolute favorite. Words can't describe it's beauty.

Sean and I take several long weekends a year and fly up to New York or head down to DC. I personally like DC and wouldn't mind moving back down there. We have also taken vacations together to Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Key West, and Boca Raton. So far of those Vegas and Key West were the best.

Next year I am breaking Sean in internationally and taking him to Europe.

Well, I was born in San Diego, but don't remember much. Lived in Seattle for a good part of my younger life. On the ride to Maine, we passed through Idaho, Arizona, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, New York, Mass, New Hampshire. I now live in Maine and have been to Edmonton, Canada (oh and I went to Victoria B.C. when I lived on the west coast) and Boston since coming to Maine. So nowhere great really, but ask me again in two weeks and I wil be able to add the UK to my list. I leave on Friday!

Alaska is a place I really want to go. My dad was military, but got out before I was born. He's been to lots of places too-Thailand, Alaska, some other places in Asia I don't remember, and a few places in Europe.

I have a few! I've been blessed by God to have had the opportunities and experiences that I have. I cant pick the best thing I've done because they all have been great/touching in some way.

My sophomore year of high school I got to sing as part of a ceremony at ground zero. My junior year of high school, I got to sing in New Orlean's Preservation Hall. My senior year I got to compete at Disney's wide world of sports in the first World Cheerleading Championship.

And of course I live right outside of D.C. so I've been inside the white house, capitol, all the monuments (even read names from the vietnam memorial at the 60th anniversary ceremony), and walked "the national mall." I

Like I said, I cant pick one because they are all so touching and wonderful.

Ive travelled quite a bit in western Europe and i love being in the Alps (hence the wedding) but so far my all time best experience was when we came to California in April. We went on a field trip and toured/camped etc visited some fabulous places such as Carizo and Antelope Valley. We were also lucky enough to be able to see some preserved areas and a few places kept hidden from the general public because of how delicate they are. It was a fabulous experience made more special by our leaders. xxx

Cuba - Mr. Hugh - Meeez Eleeeezabeth won an all inclusive, trip for two, from our local radio station. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Lake Louise, Alberta - the mountains, lakes & glaciers are amazing to see! Love love loved the flight over the rockies!

Prince Edward Island - cute, quaint, charming, lovely, hospitable!

The Gaspe area of Quebec - went to see the whales but ended up seeing a bunch of seals instead (no one told us that they leave the bay for the open ocean at the beginning of the summer) Before we visited, I had no idea of just how absolutely beautiful this part of my province is.

I love the mountains too!! That's why I'm feeling depressed to be moving to saskatchewan...when we move back down south in Alberta I can see the mountains from the farm. I've made Matthew promise to take me to the mountains before we move though! :D
