I just wanted to post this because I need to put my feelings into words. It is less than two months to go until the Big Day and we are getting more and more excited and looking forward to Our Day. Unfortunately yesterday, we got a call that broke our hearts....Our Photographer has passed away suddenly. We do not know the details of how it happened or how long he has been gone, but it really upset us. This man was more then a photographer to us, he was like an Uncle, it seemed like. We had only met him once and talked a few times on the phone, but he had a way of making you feel like you were the only ones in the world that he would be taking photographs of. The bumps in the road do not compare to the sadness we both felt when we heard the news. (I couldn't drive for the tears that were streaming down my face!) On our wedding day, a piece of my heart will be so sad because he won't be there! It really puts life into perspective for a person and its makes you realize just how you take life for granted or this or that for granted...or how you take a person for Granted! The company has already told us that they will find us another photographer, which we really appreciate, but it's difficult, I will miss him a lot! I guess what I am trying to say is don't take those key people for granted, they could be gone tomarrow!
