Since we have had so much trouble with various types of spam lately, we have set a new rule that new members cannot post in the Announcements and Opportunities forum or any of it's sub-forums at all.

Once new members have posted in other areas a while and become a "Trusted member" showing that they want to be a part of the community, they will gain access to post in this forum.

So if any new member is found posting inappropriate topics elsewhere on the board they will be seen as a spammer trying to get around this rule. The posts in question will be removed and the user will be subject to removal from the community.
I am sure something like this is posted elsewhere, but I thought it would be good here too ...

Casting ad posts (promotion of any sort of wedding related (or non wedding) show, looking for couples, win a free wedding, etc) [/I]of any kind are not appropriate here at all and will be deleted.

This includes posts soliciting our members for stories and articles for your book, blog, etc as well. If you have something you would like us to be a part of, you can bring it to us (forumsupport@onewed.com) and see if there is a way we can help each other. Otherwise such posts will be removed.

If you are a researcher and would like some help from our members; it is best to come to us (forumsupport@onewed.com) with the idea first, otherwise your post will be taken as spam and removed.

It is a good idea for new users to familiarize themselves with the rules of the community and/or specific forums before they start posting.

It is also customary for new members to introduce themselves before posting; especially when they want to promote something/share a website, post about a sell or trade or whatever; otherwise you might be mistaken for a spammer.
