In addition to the groom's cake as a gift to the groom ... have you every thought about doing something a little more private and personal? How about having some "intimate" portraits taken for him!? We are not talking anything too risqué ... maybe some with you in the bridal or honeymoon lingerie and the veil, or some other tasteful lingerie. This is sometimes call "Boudoir" or "Bridal Boudoir" photography. Or you could just do some glamour type photos. Put the photos in with a nice card or other gift and mark it "For your eyes only" then have it sent to him the morning of the wedding day.

That's a good idea. I never would have thought of something like that. I wouldn't wanna scare away the photographer though lol.

Well you would only want to pose in something you were comfortable in (it doesn't have to be too 'sexy') plus you'd want to met with the photographer before hand and be sure you are comfortable with them too.

As a photographer I use to love to do this kind of thing. I had a couple of ladies that were self conscious at first, but they ended up loving the pics.

I have always felt that everyone has beauty in them, each up us carries it differently ... it is up to the photographer to help bring out the best in each person as an individual.

Sean wouldn't apprecaite that at all. He would feel that it was a waste of time and money. He much rather would have spent both on something he would actually enjoy. But that is just his personality. I think it is a cute idea if your FH would apprecaite it.

A friend of mine did boudoir pics for her FH. She's going to have them delivered to him the morning of the wedding. They turned out beautifully! Very tastefully done.

I think it is a cool idea...and Joel would love it...but I just don't think that it is something that would provide any type of long term enjoyment..I mean after the first viewing....so I would feel like I was wasting my money!!!

Well Angel, I agree with your point, but some guys view on this is different. As part of my senior pics, I had a bunch of glamour shots made. Well there was one pose that I didnt buy, because I didnt think it was something I would give to my friends. It was sexy, but not too sexy. Anyway the studio gave me a a free 16 x 20 (I think is the size) of that pose. Somehow my dad ended up with it and I forgot all about it. He gave it to Brian on Fathers Day. Brian loves it. He wants it hung in his office where he can see it EVERYDAY!!! I asked him why....he said he loved knowing the fact that he was the only person I looked at like that. Its a guy thing............

I hadnt really thought about that, but it is a good idea. J wants sexy pics of me, and I say heck no, but this would be something he would really enjoy.

I'm not a sexy pic kinda girl...I end up looking like I'm in pain. I however got Eric a belt buckle for his 2005 ARHA World Show Title he was 7th, they gave out money and saddles and/or buckles for 1st-3rd and 4th-10th had the option of ordering one. It's huge and gold and silver with black writing and fits my COWBOY to a "T"!

The fee will vary by photographer. Some photographers don't advertise that they do this, so if you are really interested you might call a few and check.
