I will have a manicure at a nail shop. I do not want fake nails though. I hate them.

The one and only time I've ever had my nails professionally done. I swore after the wedding I'd never do it again but I'd like to get them done again soon...lol.

I kept my natural nails. My regular manicurist did them for me the day before the wedding.

I have the bad habit of biting my nails, so I plan on getting fake nails. I'll probably just get a decent set from the store and do them myself. I tend to get annoyed with nails pretty quickly, so I want something that I can take off myself after a few days.

I have gel over my fingernails to keep them strong until the wedding, so I will be having that filled, and also getting a pedicure. My FSiL already set up the appointments for me for the day before the wedding.

I will most likly wear red with a black V tip on them . Sinces it something i am know for in my family . I have worn the same thing for a long time why change to something that dose not make me fill my self..

I had a regular French manicure on my natural nails. I had a little rhinestone on my pinky finger. My manicurist did them.

I have my nails done every 2 weeks so it'll be nothing out of the ordinary for me!

Personally I love the french manicure look, or buffed and polished natural nails ;) I am not a fan of colors on my nails in general ... I wear colors on my toes though :wink:

I bite my nails as well and I am going fake!

If you are going to also go with fake, get them done ahead of time and then go for a few refills. When your natural nails are short, they will have to put the first set on fairly thickly just so that they will hold. Each time you go for a refill they can make them a little thinner.

I have been having refills done ever since March and they look pretty natural now.

I had an appiontment but cancelled I thought "who would see my nails" untill we started doing pictures of both hands to show the rings like KristyGirl has
shown. I recommend it to all my friends that are getting married! It seems like such a little thing but those pictures are so beautiful!!

I plan to have them done by a professional, but mostly just to have them shaped and prettied up. I don't normally wear polish on my nails and feel strange with painted. If I get polish, I'll just get clear or maybe a french manicure.

My toes will be painted, though. I don't mind polish on them.

I will probably get a simple clear coat or french mani, I bit my nails for years, and stopped when I met Steve, I told him I wanted pretty nails in case there ever was a ring on my finger. on may 22, I had them long and pretty, and they were irritating me! so i bit them off! and Steve thought that meant I thought I'd never have a ring, so he proposed the next day! lol! I might get a little pumpkin on one nail!

Here were my nails- I wanted Hugo to get a manicure for this picture too, but I couldn't talk him into it! :bbmad: My toenails had french tips too but I had a pink and blue flower with a blue crystal on the big toes.

I painted my natural nails clear the night before then while I was waiting on the hair stylist the day of I had the color changed to a blush. No fake nails for me....I live on a farm and they just aren't functional.

I have the bad habit of biting my nails. I cant stop no matter what I do. I buy the fake nails and put them on myself. I have had many people comment on how natural they look. When I say I do them myself thy are like wow you do a good job. I had forgotten to get some the night before and my sister just happen to have a set of the french manicure ones I wanted. We all did our own nails the night before. And our daughters got manicures from one of my brides maids and my BIL. My BIL at his nails cleaned up ( some one of a manicure ) the night before. It was funny. I got pictures some where of that.

I do have a picture of my hands just not on the pc yet. Once Iget them on here I will post some pictures.

Lol it is!! My brother does his daughters nails when he is home. It's funny to see really because if you knew my brother you'd think he was nuts!! lol. I bet he doesn't tell any of his pipe lining buddies at work he paints nails when he's at home!! ;)
