I hate the STUPID BANK that accepted our offer cancellation on the house (long story) but they *cashed* our earnest money check and now WON'T GIVE THE MONEY BACK. Stupid, dumb, bank! We hadn't even gotten the inspection done! *swear* *curse*

I hate that I, personally, am poor. It's because I am too disabled to get a job (I also hate being disabled) but not disabled enough to qualify for Social Security. Blech.

I hate that it's supposedly spring out there and yet we've been enduring a blizzard for the last 48 hours. 7" of snow so far, 5" more to accumulate before it stops. Yuck. Where the *F* is spring?????? Where are the flowers? Where's the warm weather? I have HAD IT with temperatures that are below freezing. It's been snowy since November, Veteran's Day to be precise. I want to see *grass* again and leaves on trees. is that too much to ask?

I hate that my Deputy Maid of Honor is too passive agressive and that her avoidance issues are ruining the lives of the people around her, like me.

And speaking of bridesmaids, I hate that they both aren't just shutting up and accepting what I want them to wear. I've tried to be nice and I *am* taking their wants into consideration, but I AM THE BRIDE and I have the final say. Yeah, ok, this is bugging me. It's not like I'm making them wear puce velvet . . . . *grumble* *mutter*

And finally, I hate bullies who openly admit that they taunt and torment and mock others because they enjoy laughing at them. To them, it's all a source of amusement. But to the people they abuse, who are somewhere at the other end of a computer monitor crying their eyes out, it's NOT FUNNY.

Oh, one more thing. I hate that I have insomnia and cannot get to sleep without drugs.

I HATE with a purple passion our lying, theiving, drug-dealing, gang-banging, stereo-playing, screaming-and-arguing-daily downstairs neighbors. I hate them. I wish the cops would finally arrest them, or that our landlord would evict them. Or both.

And (this is a new one) I hate people who drive through quiet neighborhoods at 3am with engine that are so loud that you can't hear yourself think. People are trying to sleep!!!! Well, not me, but most people. They put after-market stuff on their mufflers to make them loud and the noise is horrendous. Particularly at 3am.

I know, I used to work at Borders, and it was the same way. I'd get a call at 8 AM like 'Where are you?' I'd be like 'I don't work today. I have the schedule right in front of me.' They'd be like 'The schedule changed. How soon can you be here?'.

I'm so thankful now for having a job with a steady schedule.

Anyway, I hate credit card companies that offer you a settlement, you send the settlement amount, then you get another letter a few weeks later saying that your account had accrued interest before you made the payment and that the account isn't really closed. :snide:

I hate it when people think that because I'm a teacher I work 8-3 and have summers off...these people obviously don't have teachers in their family to know that we go in before 8 stay till at least supper time, grade at home, come in on weekends, take classes/professional development over the summer, and plan for the next year in the summer...not to mention we don't get paid for everything we do (we are parents, nurses, counselors, teachers, mediators, supporters, etc. and still get parents who tell us we don't know their child).

I hate it when I have some very bright students that don't slow down to read the directions and get the problem wrong because they don't pay any attention to detail.

I hate it when (this is a true story) a parents calls to tell me that if their child has homework I've given too long of an assignment (because they never have homework since they're high ability/gifted and talented and have always gotten work done at school) and if their child asks for help I've made the assignment too hard (because their child never needs help with homework)...you agreed to put your child in a high math class and knew they would be in high school math books as 6th graders...what do you expect.

I HATE it when a student or parent explains not having homework done with "well I had a game last night and I didn't get home until 9pm so I didn't have time to do my homework." THIS IS SCHOOL PEOPLE...you are here to learn...sports are extra...thus the name EXTRAcurricular activities!

I hate when people have everything handed to them on a silver platter and because I've lived my life the right way and work hard, I have to bust it to afford the necessitites.

There's so much we have to do to it before we can move in, there's so much that I need to know and don't (why isn't the compressor for the A/C working? Is it just not turned on or is there something more sinister going on? Does the toilet flush? What about the furnace? We have no idea if that works . . . .all we have to go on is the FHA appraisal being a success, and a working furnace is one of the requirements. If it *does* work, is it on right now? Is the house warmer than it needs to be? What if the furnace isn't working at all? How much water is in the basement, and did our temporary fix work? WHAT'S GOING ON OVER THERE?????)

This is driving me absolutely bat-$h1t insane with the not-knowing of it all. I HATE WAITING!!!!! If I could close tomorrow, I would.

Cool poem. I love driving. But lately my car Power Steering has got stiffer and stiffer so i took it to the garage and some Twat has put what looks like Engine Oil in the Power Steering bottle. Gonna cost £150 to repair minimum. That's just for flushing it through and hopefully no more damage is done.

So right now i hate mechanics who can't read the bottle and notice the different between Engine Oil and Power Steering Fluid. :irked:

I know they are just looking for ways to make some money and they could be out getting into trouble, but if how many times do they have to ask me?! I tell them no every time, you would think they would get the message and not bother to ask again!

And then they have to bang on the door and continue to ring the door bell over and over for like several minutes too! Ya think maybe I am not home or maybe I just don't want to come to the door?!

Jeeze - go away and leave me alone ... the grass isn't even that tall anyway :p

I don't even answer our door. The only ones who ring the doorbell are the ones we didn't invite! I just laugh and look at them on the stoop from the upstairs window...lol

I hear that! I also hate the people that will blame others for their mistakes. I may have mentioned this before, but there is a sign in the yard of a house on a main road around here that says something like "Slow down dog killers". Apparently these people's dog was hit and killed and that is sad, but if the dog was inside or properly restrained/contained it wouldn't have happened.
