I wanted to see what the consensus is on wedding gown straps. Please let us know what you have/had. :)

Mine is a halter. I felt to naked when I tried on the strapless dresses. They are pretty, but I am kind of modest.

Strapless. I hate the idea before I tried my gown on and then decided it was too pretty not to get.

Not too long ago I was looking trough some pictures of the last weddings I did, and I realized that all but 2 of the brides wore strapless gowns in the last 12 weddings I shot. I guess strapless was pretty popular last year ;) Personally, I have never been a fan of strapless dresses in general, even when I was thinner ;)

Mine was strapless as well, which is something I didn't want at first, but decided on in the long run.

Mine is a blouse, so has sleeves. Had I been getting married in an American/christian style white gown, I may have gone with strapless...considering it's a summer wedding. We'll never know now!

When I started looking I really wanted one with full sleeves, but when I tried on the strapless dress I picked I just couldnt pass it up.

My backup dress is strapless, but I think I want something with spaghetti straps.

I'd resigned myself to strapless since it seems like that's what's available, but I ended up going with spagetti straps. I'm still going to have a shawl that pins in back though becuase like so many others, I hate my arms! :p

You are so right. When I was looking at dresses, strapless defiantely dominated what is out there.

Definitely. Amber was not looking to go strapless either; but, to us, the strapless were the most beautiful dresses.
