well, i'm a virgin, so the whole year and a half we've been together has been abstinence. we've still got about 11 months to go and i can hardly wait!

We were kind of in an odd position, because we had considered ourselves married for years before there was any way for us to get legally married. It was weird enough when we went from considering ourselves married to being engaged. Going back to abstinence would have just added another layer of weirdness, so we didn't do it.

I said "other". We made the choice to abstain after we were officially engaged until the wedding night to add a little extra anticipation. So even though we'd been together before, we abstained the 17 months of our engagement (plus a couple of months before for no good reason)

Nope! :) We didn't even talk about it - since we lived together I guess it just seemed like kind of an arbitrary thing for me, and I honestly didn't want the added pressure of making the wedding night super special (which it was anyway!!:luxlove:)

so many of our friends were too tired to DTD on their wedding nite... i couldn't imagine holding out then getting all excited and passing out from exhaustion before u get to...

I said for a week or so. I'm really not sure what's going to happen. But I know not the week of the wedding, but the week before that is supposed to be that time of the month. So since we most likely won't be doing it that week, we'll probably just hold off another week. What's another week, right? So it looks like we'll probably hold off for 2 weeks. But it's not set in stone. We'll see ;)

I think there was a few days leading up to the wedding maybe even a week or 2 that we didn't due to timing and work schedules etc but I don't remember for sure. At the time of our wedding we had been together for almost 9 years.....but when we first got together, we waited for 2 years before DTD.

Actually my friends have tried to do this but they were not successful in doing that.
So I have not thought of doing this.
