Because I have so many people around me who do beauty stuff for a living, its part of my everyday life. I'll be doing massages (one of my bridesmaids is a massage therapist), faicials, make-up, brow waxing (maid of honor's sister does these things in a spa in our area and brings it home for me), hair (my grandma has her own salon in her basement and my sister is studying cosmotology), and my nails are taken care of by the salon down the street from me (my nails always look great and they give me my fill-ins for free when I get a pedicure because I've known them so long!).
I am truely blessed by the beauty Gods! :bblol:

I would absolutely love to have a facial, massage, and all that jazz. However, I know that is not in the budget. I am going to have my hair and make-up done.

I had a facial a week before...sort of...lol...I got a free "treat" from them for a gift. And then day of I had hair and make up and had my nails done the day before. I had my brows waxed a week before because no one wants nasty puffy wax brows going on on their wedding day!! :)

Do NOT do a facial the day of your wedding. Make it at least 3-4 days before. First of all, you don't know how you will react to the products. Secondly, your skin tends to get red and aplotchy after a facial from all the blemish removals and exfoliation.

I did a manicure and pedicure a few days before the wedding. But I do those every two weeks anyway. (I have natural nails). I really dislike facials and massages can trigger a migraine so I stayed clear of both of those. The day of the wedding I had my hair done and did my own makeup.

I might get a massage the week of. Two days before Alex and I are going together for me to get my eyebrows waxed and him to get his facial hair professionally trimmed. The day before the wedding I'm doing manicures & pedicures with my girls. And then doing hair and makeup on the day of the wedding. No facial for me....If I get off of a schedule with my face or use a different product than its used to, I tend to break out majorly....I don't even want to chance that right before the wedding.

I had my hair done for the wedding, but I wasn't really happy with it (long story) I did my makeup myself, pretty much just like I do it all the time ... but we only had a casual wedding at our home.
