I haven't decided yet. I would like to keep it, but at the same time when my daughter gets married, what is the chance she is going to like it? I may sell it. I don't know yet.

I'm keeping mine. Maybe some day my daughter or DIL might want to wear it but I won't hold my breath.

I had it cleaned and properly stored in hopes of keeping my gown in the best shape I could.

I haven't decided yet. I want to keep it forever but who knows....I am not good at keeping things in good condition.

I didnt wear an actual wedding dress, but I had bought one at a thrift shop type place that I was going to have altered. Never got around to it.........
Im seriously thinking of just donating it somewhere. I didnt pay much for it....

I sold it. I decided I'd much rather have someone be able to wear and enjoy it than it be stuck in my closet forever and ever.

I've been thinking that I might have it made in to a quilt. On the other hand, it would feel good to donate it. Right now I don't think I'll keep it...but who knows, I might change my mind. I can get awfully sentimental. :)

I am keeping mine. I remember as a little girl loving to look at my mom's wedding dress. I want to have it properly preserved. I would like to have it professionaly preserved.

I kind of like the thing with the quilt.. That way you could have it forever, regardless...

I'm keeping mine and wearing it to church on the occassional sunday. mine was not an actual wedding dress, but bought with the intentions of wearing it sometimes.

I'm definitely planning on keeping it forever. Who knows, someone may want to wear it or may not, but I will have it for memories regardless.

I am not sure. I am bad though, it still hasn't been cleaned after the wedding. I want to keep it for a while, if I ever get tired of storing it then I'll give it away or try to sell it for a little.

As of right now, my mother has insisted that we have it presevered to keep it forever. I would have been fine selling it. I see no need to have it sitting around collecting dust. So as long as she is paying for it and it isn't getting in my way, it can stay. The minute it starts to take up space it is going on EBay. I don't think that I would encourage my child to wear it. I would hope that she would be enough of her own person with her own unique sense of style that she wouldn't want to wear it.

I am pretty sure I will be keeping it. I don't know if my daughter will want to wear it when she is older and eventually gets married, but I would keep it anyway.

I don't know...keep it for a while and then decide....

I will keep it. I could wear it again or because it's an antique, I might actually display it (on a dress form). All I need to do is decorate a "pretty" room to put it in :)

My daughter is 17 and tells me that she doesn't want my dress - c'est la vie! I didn't want my mother's either. I would have worn my aunt's dress for my first wedding but it was way way WAY too small for me so my mother made my dress to look almost exactly like my aunt's dress.

I know a few Italian brides that had their dress made into Christening gowns for their child(ren). Reduce, Reuse, Recycle :D
