Coke or Pepsi?

Coke. Not to many people drink Pepsi around here and most food places only have coke here too. South East Texas is a Coke and Dr. Pepper dominated area.

I've always preferred coke products to pepsi products. I also think Sprite (Coke product) is a far better drink than Sierra Mist (Pepsi product).

I don't drink a lot of soda/pop/carbonated sweet beverages/whatever you call them. But out of those two I prefer Coke. Pepsi leaves a metallic after taste. My mom goes through about a 12 pack of Coke a day. She wonders why she has gained so uch weight, can't sleep, and has kidney stones. Usually if I drink a soft drinkthough I prefer Ginger Ale.

My family has ALWAYS bought pepsi. My dad grew up on Pepsi and so did my sister and I. I drink coke all the time when we go out, but I love pepsi and it makes me feel home!

I drink COKE Zero, Sprite ZERO and Nestea ZERO. Lol...all diet drinks. I love the real deal but Matt won't let me bring it into the house.

Before I met my FH, I would drink either coke or pepsi (whichever was on sale when I went to the grocery store.) However, my FH is a definite coke drinker, so when we moved in together, it was coke all the way. Now, pepsi tastes funny to me... so I have to say, coke.

You know what is funny? I don't know how many other places do this, but at least in this part of Texas any kind of soft drink is a called a coke. It's hard to explain what I mean by it. I'll try to construct a dialogue.

"Go to the store and buy some cokes." This can be translated as go to the store and buy Coke, Pepsi, Sprite, or any soft drink. We all know what soft drinks are, but nobody calls them soft drinks.

"What kind of coke do you want?" This is translated as what type of soft drink do you want.

I know what you mean... I can't remember where but I went to a resturant and they asked what kind of coke they could get for me... " I was like, there are differen't kinds of coke?!"

I don't really drink alot of sodas and when I do I don't really drink the plan cola. But of the two I think I prefer Pepsi ... most ppl around here prefer Coke though, so I guess I am in the minority ;)

I will drink Coke but if given the option, I'd choose Pepsi. But my fav soda is Mr. Pibb or Sprite :wink:

I voted pepsi products cause i can't live without my daily 2 or 3 mtn. dew caffeine addict drinks.

Nobody calls it pop here or soda. Everyone calls all soft drinks coke. If anyone says pop it is a dead give away that you are not from here. Occasionaly you might here soda or soft drink. Most of the time it is coke.

I tend to like Pepsi itself better than Coke, but overall, I like Coke products better....Cherry Coke over Cherry Pepsi, and com'mon now, you are asking the person who could live entirely on drinking Barq's Root Beer which she likes better....?
