There was a shower held last weekend at church and 23 women all pitched in to get me a large gift card.
Do I write a thank you to each one individually or just one to the group?

I would write one to each person individually, since they all chipped in. :)

otherwise they'll have to take turns having custody of one card :laugh2:

If they are all part of a group of coworkers or something with a similar address (and a common area where a single card could be displayed) then I think one thank-you is acceptable. If not, I would try to do them individually.

Thanks for the replies.
I decided to write a note to each person. I figured it is better to take an extra hour of time than to have hurt feelings.
I think you did the right thing by sending individual thank-you notes. It may have been time-consuming but you can be sure that each was appreciated.
