I Won!

At the bridal fair I went to this weekend I entered my name in lots of drawings and I won something really cool. I won 3 nights in Orlando, 2 nights in Daytona, and 2 nights in Ft. Lauderdale and 4 passes on the Sterling Cruise ship going out of Port Canavaral. I can bring Justin (of course) any other 2 adults over the age of 21! We only have to pay for transportation, hotel taxes, and whatever we do while we are there. We have 18 months to take it. I am thinking probably next summer would be a good time. We probably can get hooked up on airfare too because one of Justin's good friends works for Continental and he can get buddy passes. We can invite him to go with us because in order to use those passes he has to fly with us. Cool right!

That sounds like a blast. Can I offer a suggestion? May is a great time to go..it's after Spring Break but before all the kids are out of school. And the heat is summery, but not oppressive (And it's not hurricane season). An extra bonus is that if you decide to hit any of the theme parks the lines are WAY shorter.

Just a thought. :) I'm sure you'll have loads of fun whenever you go!

When I looked into it more it was quite costly and not much of a deal. I am not trying to bring you down at all so please don't think that. Just looking out for you. I truly hope it is genuine though cause it is an awesome prize if it is. Just do your homework I would hate to see anyone get taken for a ride!! ;)

I was going to say the same thing. Matt and I both entered to win a trip to Hawaii and we both ended up with calls telling us we had won something similar to what Kacie said. I'd be very leary of what you need to pay for or do when it comes to this type of thing. Sometimes they make you sign up for time shares that just rip you off and cause you more hassle then it's worth. I'd definately look for the fine print!! :)

I hope it's ligit, but I find that alot of bridal shows have "vendors" who this kind of thing too. I was once called from a bridal show about a trip to vegas but all I had to do was sit through three hours of demonstration for some pots and then buy the pots at $700. I said forget that noise!! lol

We won something like that a few years back, almost the exact same places too! Our cruise ship didn't show up though, so we had to take a plane for the first part of the "cruise" to the island of the bahamas and then on our way home, it showed up. All in all, it was a really great trip, for a very affordable price!
