Every April I have such severe allergies/sinus that I can't function. Last night, the pain was so severe that I actually started shaking from head to toe and ended up hyperventilating, which just made it worse. My sinus issues are so bad that I get ear aches which then travel to my gums.

So today, I did some research and found a home remedy that 166 people out of like 175 said works wonders.

2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a 8 oz cup of hot water, three times a day. I put a little bit of honey in it as well. I figure there's no warning against cider, so I gave it a try.

I have been sitting here drinking it, with a warm washcloth over my nose, and it seems to be working! I have a tad bit of pain, but nothing like last night.

I also read that 2 tablespoons of vinegar in a 16 ounce glass of water every day is good for weight loss. It's supposed to help boost your metabolism.

I went to a doctor and they wanted to put me on steroids for the sinus. NOT something I want to do unless I have no other alternative.

Does anyone else use homeopathic remedies?

I'm curious to see how many of you try things like this.

I've read the vinegar thing before - I was doing research about excessive mucus, which I've been dealing with this season even though I haven't had a lot of allergy problems in the past. I never got around to trying it but maybe I will now that I've read it helped you out!
I'm so sorry you've been dealing with all of that. Pain sucks! Feel better.

It really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I had a bit of a mental block because of the smell of dying Easter eggs, but I could barely taste the vinegar, or the honey either!

I am :crossfingers: that I can actually lay down tonight! Tuesday night any time I lay down it would just get worse, so I only got like 2 hours of sleep.

Make sure you get the apple cider vinegar though. I guess the other kind just gives you heartburn. Yuck.
