Ok ladies, my time in the Netherlands is coming to a close (we leave for home tomorrow and I can't wait!) and as such so are my pictures here. So on Monday (April 12, 2010), Anton and I went to the Keukenhof with my FIL's. It's a gorgeous place, but not quite what I expected! I had the preconceived notion that there were fields of flowers that you wandered through and could take pictures in, but in reality there was one field that you could view from across a canal, and other then that it was gardens of various sizes with beds of different colored flowers planted. The flowers were beautiful and I had a great time batting my eyes at Anton and getting him to pose for pics with me and we got alot of really nice pics of the 2 of us!!
I seperated things out again, because I took another literal ton of pics. So I have it split into 3 parts, one is labeled "Keukenhof - Family" which are all pics of one or more of the 4 of us, one is labeled "Keukenhof - flower close-ups" which is all of the close ups I took of flowers (I'm actually amazed and VERY happy with how many sharp clear centered closeups I got when most of the pics were taken from 15+ feet away and on high zoom on a windy day lol), the last is labeled "Keukenhof - the rest!" which is all of the general scenery shots, showing how the gardens are set up and some of the exhibits etc.
