Well we are getting pounded again today by rain. I just looked outside and there is water starting to stand on the porch. It has been raining non-stop since at least 5:30 this morning. It rained most all day yesterday too.
Here is a picture of what is going on currently. I am in the Liberty area.

We got hammered last night here in Phoenix, but boy did it cool down the temperature. It was so nice this morning. Stay dry and safe, Kacie!!! :D

Yeah this cr@p is supposed to be headed up to East Texas where Im at, but we havent seen it yet. Its kinda windy here, and cloudy, but not bad.

What it is a tropical disturbance and we have a low pressure system sitting right here and that is why more and more storms pop up. Since my last post it has not even let up any. Luckily I do not have to do anything so I can stay at home and not have to get on the roads. It does make it much cooler though! It is only reached 77 degrees today!

You know what is funny, we have those sprinklers that are hooked up to the septic tank or something like that, and they are on right now. It looks funny that a sprinkler is going while it is pouring down rain.

Its been cooler here too, but I wish it would rain. We have a burn ban in effect. Kinda ruins our weinie and marshmallow roast we wanted to have...

We've had a really dry year until this month. I think the last I heard we have had 6 inches of rain from this storm so far and it has not let up yet. In fact it started raining harder.

No canoe. It's slacked off some for now. There's more coming, but at least it can drain for a bit.
