I realize that its about that time so making a journal now may be sinceless so i will just give a short history and post some pics. Some of you have proly already read the story on another post.

Corey and I met at a bar and grill we both used to hang out in on 9-11. The DJ was dedicating the next song to him because he was shipping out that next morning. The song was God Bless The USA. We had a few mutual friends so they would always keep me upto date on how he was doing. I never stopped thinking about him the whole time he was gone. The moment i met him i knew he would always be dear to my heart and I would make sure that when he came home we would start hanging out together. There was just something about him that i truly adored. Everytime i would here his song i would go into tears thinking about him over there fighting for my friends and family to be safe. Well he was gone for about a year and a half and the weekend after he came home i was told that he was going to be up at our old hang out so some friends and i decided to go up there. We had started talking and he had said that everytime he talked to one of our friends he would find out how i was doing and if i was still single. We were an item i think from then on out. We gotten pretty serious and then he got shipped out again for a year. That year ended last july when he came home with an engagement ring for me. He was hit by a mortar shell while he was shipped out and got a back injury from it. Therefore is unable to return to the army. But he will always be my soldier. We now have a house together and have 5 kids between the 2 of us and are talking about having one more after we are married and all is settled down.

OK so i guess this wasnt a very short story sorry.

Your children are beautiful and they truly look very happy together. Though I'm sure they don't always appear so angelic! Congratulations on your engagement, wedding, and joining of two families.

Thank ya.The kids were laying on the floor to take the pic. We always let them take one pic in whatever they want to wear and pose however they want if they take the pictures the way we want first. lol Bribery i guess lol

WOW Lisa! I have to say one more time NOW THAT'S A WESTERN WEDDING! I am so jealous (meant as a huge compliment)! I love your cake, that dress is gorgeous, your kids are beautiful, the grooms cake is awesome (I almost did that one but I was scared my sister would kill me (she is making the cakes)! I absolutely love your wedding cake and your invites and your poems and everything are PERFECT! I WANNA COME! LOL!

Well we went this weekend and got his shirt,vest, and jeans. We got the keg paid for and the horse and carriage booked. We also got the stuff to make my veil for my hat, and checked on the flowers. Im hoping to get more pics posted today of other stuff. We are making the underskirt for my dress so we went to pick up that material and i decided since no one will see it i got blue bandana fabric. lol

I still dont have songs for seating the mothers and when corey enters(I had thought about Mama's dont let your babies grow up to be cowboys but then listened to it closely and decided against it.lol)
or For when the bridesmaids walk down the isle.

If anyone has any suggestions Please feel free cause im at a loss. I want them to be country for sure. Our main goal is to have a good time and enjoy ourselves.

Sorry, Lisa, I can't help you there. Never been a country music fan myself. But I just want to give you props for having such a great western theme wedding. I love ALL the different themes and how the brides incorporate the ideas into their weddings. Yours is one of the best western themed weddings that I have ever seen. :D I love the idea of your wedding dress and hat. That will really be cute I think. I can't wait to see your wedding pictures!

Thank you very much. Time just seems to be slipping by. Only 2 more weeks All of the mixed emotions are setting in. Excitement, Anxiety, Worry, Nervous, lol just to list a few.
