Welcome Mia. Are you getting married soon? Where are you from?

Since this was not really an intro, I moved it ;)
I saw something about trends on OneWed's Savvy Scoop Bridal Blog not too long ago -

It IS an Intro! I find that response rude. This is my first impression of your "Sight"!

Brandi wasn't being mean, she just put this thread in the proper place is all, because really, it wasn't an intro. You should introduce yourself, tell us a little bit about you. Are you planning a wedding? If so, tell us about it! :)
As far as trends go, I'm not sure I can help, but I would check out that link that Brandi posted!

I agree, Brandi was not at all rude. If you read through some of the intros, everyone tells a little bit about themselves, if they're getting married, are married, etc. Your post was more of a question, which is totally acceptable, but she put it in the right spot so you'll get more answers. She is handy like that. :)
I'm sorry that your impression of our "sight" is rude... but really, the ladies here are the nicest I've come across in wedding boards.
As for your question, what kind of trends do you mean? I guess pull-up skirts are kind of trendy in dresses, bright colors are in, bridesmaids aren't all wearing the same dresses anymore... there's a lot going on. I personally don't follow trends so I don't know what they really are. I agree- check out that article. Or just browse around the boards. Girls post pictures of their planning and their weddings all the time.

This right here is good advice! I am the same way, I don't follow trends, so that's why I am of no help there! I just go for what I like, if it happens to be a trend, then cool, if not, that's cool too! :coolblue: lol

I am sorry that you feel that way ... our first impression of you is that you are trying to slip in links and disrespect the rules of our community.
One post (which was removed) of yours was a promo for a commercial website (called weddingtrendsusa interestingly enough) then this "intro" asking about wedding trends ... sorry just seems odd.
You are certainly welcome here, but perhaps you should share a little about yourself and what brings you here ... and check out our Member Rules & Guidelines forum (http://forums.onewed.com/forumdisplay.php?f=74):)
I guess I was quick to judge wasn't I! I am interested in finding out what brides around the US are thinking of that might be new and fresh! I am in a wedding fashion related business and have been since 1994 and want to learn what today's Brides need and want to find from thier Bridal Salons or Websites etc. What is it that they find difficult to find for the wedding etc. This seems like an intimate forum to hear what is on your minds as Brides.

See now that was a much better intro ;)
I can split this into an intro thread for you :)
