Me and my fiance live together. So should both our names go on return address on the envelope?
I guess I am just worried 2 names and 1 address will send certain conservative family members on a tizzy.
Am I over thinking this or is there proper etiquette about this?

I think you can do it either way. If you think having both names on the envelope will cause an issue then just put your name, or his if it's his relative. My brother's save the date came recently and it only had his fiance's name on the envelope, even though they live together. ;)

I agree, it's up to you. We used both of ours when we send them. There's probably on a very few guests on our list who might get upset about that. This might sound mean, but if they do, I don't really care anyways, because those few guests are people I don't really know and didn't care to invite but my parents wanted them invited. So do whatever you feel would be best. Maybe for those certain few guests who might get upset, just do either you or you FH, and then for the rest use the both of your names if you prefer. Are you two paying for it all yourself, or are your parents helping out with the wedding? If they are, maybe you could think about having the return address be their names instead of yours? That might help. But in the end, it's whatever you want. Good luck :)

That's definitely a good idea, didn't even think of that! That's probably what I would do in this situation if I was worried about a few people!

You could just put the future last name with the address, no first names.

I think we put just the address as well. We addressed our save the dates pretty informal. :yesnod:

I also just put the address on ours (although I distributed most of the ones to immediate family by hand because I'm just cheap and didn't want to to buy stamps!)

I did the same thing. We gave them out at Christmas because we knew we would see a LOT of family within a short amount of time!!
