Newbie bride on a budget for Nov/Dec of this year!

Hi everyone. My name is Heather...and I am a wedding planning addict. Well, perhaps not...but it sure feels like it, and I am only a week into this crazy process.
We are 30-somethings planning our 2nd marriage for each of us. We are definately on a budget... and have no clue what our plan in other than we are looking at the week of Thanksgiving or the week between Christmas and the New Year so that long distance family will already be in town.
I am completely now the girly girl, so my guy is feeling like he created a monster here as I, and my kiddos, obsess over the possibilities. Trying to find the most cost effective and beautiful plan....

Thanks for the warm welcome ladies! I have been spending a great deal of time so far on the site just reading and taking it all in. Oh the things I haven't considered yet! I've gotten so great info here that I wasn't finding through my many google searches...including the chapel that it looks like we will be using as I was having trouble finding someone in Myrtle Beach to officiate our beach wedding on Thanksgiving day! Now that I have found someone available (and checked some referances online), we have solidified our date!!!

November 25th 2010 is my day! My family and I have a great deal to be thankful for this year...
