Some of us prefer hot weather, & some of us prefer cold weather. What's your preference? :D

I think it all depends on what you are used to. I was born in California and raised in Arizona. I'm used to hot weather, and I'm not used to snow. When I was in the Army, I lived in Germany for almost 4 years, and it almost killed me. It was so cold there. I just can't live where it's cold. It hurts too much! LOL! :D

I would have to say too cold. Keep in mind that I loathe Winter and hate, and I mean hate to be cold, but atleast when you are cold you can wear more clothes, or get a blanket, or snuggle up to your man and warm up. When it is too hot you are kinda screwed unless you stay in with the ac on. I mean, you can only take off so many clothes...plus when it is really hot I can't even touch FH...cause I don'y want to be touched. Plus, when it is really hot..I can't breathe...it is stifling!!!!

Living in upper Ohio River Valley, I grew up with both extremes. It is nothing to have 100 degree summers with ridiculous humidty and below zero winters with a foot or more of snow. To top it off, my mother swore the air conditioning made her sinuses hurt so that was never allowed on the in the summer. In the winter she kept the house at least 80 (if my dad wasn't home to complain about it it was usually hotter than that. I grew up being hot, miserable, and stuffy. I can't stand the slightest little bit of heat I prefer winter. I just cannot stand the heat. I keep my central air on 68 and my furnace on 70.

You do like it cold, Lacey!!! My sister, Jody, used to keep her house at 68 degrees, that was before her husband was killed. He really liked to be cold in the house. Well, me & my kids were invited over to stay with them for a while and we were freezing in there. We ended up turning the thermostat up a bit. LOL!
But the heat is why most homes in Arizona come with a swimming pool. When you're wet, you can tolerate the heat.

Living in Ohio the weather is unexpected. Ideally I would prefer weather about 65 degrees if it could stay like that ALWAYS... But like Angel said, you can only take so many clothes off when it's hot.. I would rather be cold.

It's funny how you guys are saying to just put on another layer of clothing when you're cold. That was how we always justified not living where it's cold. We would say that you could never put on enough clothes to stay warm, because you would end up looking like the Michelin Man when you went outside. You know the sad thing Karen? I HATE hot... When it gets about 80 degrees here and humid, I would rather not go out AT ALL! You would probably be find in 80 degrees! I don't really like it cold either but I would prefer cold to hot.
Like I said, if it could be 65 degrees all year long, I would be set!

You're right, Ally!!! To me, 80 degrees is heaven sent. We have that kind of weather 9 months out of the year here in Phoenix. We just have to make it through 3 months of hell in order to get there. LOL!! :bblol:

Probably too hot. I'm the most comfortable when it's around 80-85 degrees. I don't mind the cold, but I despise it when you just can't get warm, no matter how much clothing you have on!

I cry like a baby when it gets that hot out! I've crossed Arizona off my list for places to live! =)

Definitely! Don't live here if you don't like warm weather! We live smack dab in the middle of the desert. But I was raised here so I'm used to it.

The beauty of it is when the temperature is 5F outside and the windchill is at a -10F, EVERYONE in town looks like the Michelin Man. So you don't mind as much.

I would say I would rather be cold. I was born and raised in Maine. Lived in NC for a few short years and missed the snow. I hate trying to get ready for work in the mornings when it is too hot. I love the snow. Love playing in it, love walking in the first fresh snowfall when it is dark and quiet.
I am not usualy all that cold. It is funny my DH is from WV and was used to ice and snow but it be gone within a day or 2. He is not used to it sticking around the whole winter. He will be all bundled up when he heads out. Me.... not hat , my coat opened, only have gloves on to clean off my car. And boots to keep the snow out of my shoes. That stuffs cold in there lol.
So yes I would rather be cold as it doesnt bother me all that bad. Yes it gets below 0 and can be feel even colder. But as you were born and raised in the heat Karen I was born and raised in the snow lol. I love the snow. As long as I dont have to drive in it lol.

Too cold. Not because I like being cold at all, but at least when I am cold I can put on more clothes to get warm. If it's too hot, well.. you can only take off so much! lol
