Does anyone know what kind of flowers I should use since my wedding will take place in Aug of next year??

I got married in Aug of 2008 and didn't want to have to worry about the flowers not looking good, so I used silks. These days many are quite realisitic looking and all the arrangements can be made well in advance.

Since this is posted in the Destination Wedding forum I assume you are having a DW? If so then I would look into what flowers are in season in the area in August.

Or just use nice silks as firespirit mentioned :)

I know that the Gladiolus is the flower for August. Daisies are a nice seasonal flower for that time of the year.

I would like to suggest you for roses.you can use any type of Fragrances.

Where are you getting married? I'm having a beach wedding and using plumerias. But they wouldn't quite work if you were getting married in the mountains, or a foreign city.
Also, what colours are you using? That might help us give you more suggestions. :yesnod:
