Hey yall!

I was talking with my fiance's sister the other day and when she saw my dress she suggested I invest in either boob glue or duct tape to keep the dress up (it's strapless with a tied back). I've seen a few pictures of strapless dresses on here...did you do anything to keep them up or did they stay up on their own? I wore a strapless dress to prom my senior year and I didn't have any problems with it...any thoughts? I really don't want to be sticking duct tape to the inside of my dress.

You can have a bra built into the dress, that is what I would recommend.

If altered properly (wear the same undergarments to fittings that you will be wearing on your wedding day!!!) there should be no problem with is staying in place. If you need the extra support, have a bra sewn in.

Do what I plan on doing, just wear a strapless bra. I didn't have a problem at all. Since the dress laces in the back I had the extra support that I needed.

It's not the support I'm worried about, she said I'd have a problem with it falling down. I know I'm not particularly well endowed, but I didn't think I would have a problem with it falling down, especially since it ties in the back.

If altered properly it should not fall down either. But if you need the extra "comfort" there are specially made tapes made for attaching clothing to skin. Since they are made for skin, there's less possiblilty for irritation. However, even clothing tape, or "boob glue" won't make an ill-fitting garment fit right, proper alterations will, (which includes wearing the same undergarments to fittings).

You should have no problem with it falling down, just make sure it's tight enough when you go for your alterations, don't be afraid to speak up if you feel like your going to fall out of it. Mine was strapless and I never even thought to use glue or tape, it stayed in place all night...
my well endowed BM had some issues though...:)
