Hmmmmmmm, before I get all bent out of shape and KILL someone I will CALMLY come in here and type in my problem and wait for you kind ladies to reassure me that I have NOTHING to worry about...

I called the photographer 2 days ago to confirm the time that she is to be at the church to start photographing this momentous occassion and got no answer, so I left a message. Today I called and got the irritating telephone company tone and the message "you have reached a number that is no longer in service, if you feel you have reached this message in error please check you number and dial again"....you bet your sweet patooty I checked and redialed and GOT THE SAME MESSAGE AHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I have since then exhausted every name and telephone number I know to reach her without result...

OK breathe Ellen (yes I am talking to myself)! Karen, Heather, Cindy, Lacey, Shawna, Angel, Holly, Becky, Brandi..... OMG OMG someone calm me down why in the HELL can't I get ahold of my wedding photographer????????????

Calm down, Ellen! No sense in getting upset unless you know for sure you have a reason to be upset. Maybe she didn't pay the bill for some reason. It's definitely scary, but there may be a good reason.

I'm sure everything will turn out ok but I would see if there are any other photographers or guests that can take some pics for you just in case.

Was she planning on moving her studio by any chance? If she was, then that would explain the phone problem......dont know about your phone companies, but the ones around here want to turn it off at old location about 2 days before they turn it on at the new one.
There could be many reasons.....personal family ones....that while may mess things up for you, were completely out of her control. Just exhaust all of your options before you have your nervous breakdown ok???

My photographer went in for a stress test a week before mine and was told that he had had a heart attack since his last test a year ago. I was left without one....but it wasnt his fault.

If you have a signed contract, she probably hasn't just disapperaed with your money and has no intent on doing your wedding pictures. Go, take a drive by her place and see what you came up with. Maybe she dind't get the message. Maybe the phone lines are down. Maybe she thought her husband paid the bill this month, ect. There are a million and one rational reasons. You WILL have wedding pictures if I have to haul my butt to Kentucky with my new digital camera myself and take them for you.

Radar is a border collie we rescued from the human society...he is the official weather dog for the station, he accompanies the weather people on visits to community functions, including school visits of all sorts and basically sits in a chair while the weather people give the forecast, barks on cue, shakes hands, chases NBC frisbees, looks cute at golf functions and drives anyone here at the station nuts because he IS AFRAID OF STORMS (as with most collie breeds)!

The **** dog sleeps on a serta mattress at a "SWANK" boarding facility from Fri-Sun at noon and then he comes back to the station and lives here...trust me he is SPOILED!

Okay crisis resolved, I didn't find her Friday but Saturday when I came in from mowing the lawn there was a message on my cell, Eric's cell and the house phone...she is in Colorado with her hubby on vacation and forgot to pay the bill before they left. We talked, I vented:bblol: she apologized... we laughed and I am forwarding her a list of shots that I want taken Saturday. She told me to have Eric and his side there at noon and she would get those shots out of the way then she will start with mine at 1.

EXACTLY what I was thinking...thank GOD I have seen her work, or I would be scared to death! She did our pics last year and took our engagment pics, Dianna's my MOH #2/FSIL wedding pics and one of the Groomsmens wedding pics!

Ok...I know that sounds weird, but Brian pays his bills BY the bills. If he doesnt get it in the mail, it gets over looked for a bit. He evenually catches it, but sometimes it does get him in trouble.........
Also if he thought she paid it and she thought he paid it......again, trouble.....
Im helping Brian keep that kind of stuff more organized.
