We thought about doing it and at the last minute changed our minds. It was too hot for some of the candy I wanted, so we scraped the idea. We did sno coneinstead. I love the idea though! Yummy!

You had sno cones at your wedding reception? Cool, never seen that before ;)

We are having the wedding cake and punch at the church and my sister is making western shaped chocolates, western shaped sugar cookies, wedding cake doughnuts and there will be 2 sugar free desserts there for my dad and Eric's uncle.
At the formal reception we are having the chocolate groom's cake and more chocolates, cookies, doughnuts and a surprise (she won't tell me what)!

We're debating doing a candy buffet. The reception site charges about $5 per person for a dessert buffet and because we're having cake we dont want to have a bunch of cakes and cookies. The candy buffet is definitely a contender though! ;)

I think that is such a good idea! If I had the extra money for my wedding, I would have done that! I love desserts anyways! I say if you have the money u should do it! :)

I am soooooooo interested. How did you do it? Did you rent a machine of some kind? Hmmmm I might scrap the chocolate fountain if I can swing the snow cones instead!

We are having a dessert buffet that comes with the dinner, including a chocolate buffet. And we have also arranged to have a cotton candy machine!!

I have always been attracted to the candy buffet idea, but our budget is limited so I am thinking about having snacks such as veggies and fruits and munchies like that and like the regular cheese and crackers, and then have a candy bar.
I reallly have my heart set on having set seating for my guests and having place cards and stuff, so I am trying to do something where I can make it semi formal enough to have assigned seating but to not have an actual meal, if that makes since
does anyone have pictures or a list of desserts from their dessert/candy buffet?
