I had an absolutely gorgeous fingertip-length ivory veil for my wedding, but I never learned who the designer was. I am now trying to sell it, but have discovered that it is hard when I can't give a manufacturer or style number. Can anyone help me out with this? It has a very distinctive edging, shown below. You can click on either of the photos to see a larger version.

I'm sorry I have no idea either, but wanted to say I also think it is pretty! I personally didn't care about name or item number. Have you tried selling it with just pictures already or are you just guessing it would be hard without the info?

Jacklynn, I actually already have this veil (which was mine) and my wife's veil both listed on eBay. The two veils are quite similar in style, were listed at the same time, and are being offered at the same amount. Hers has had 100 views, and has 4 people watching it. Mine has had 40 views, and has one person watching it.
My suspicion is that a lot of brides see a veil they like in a store, then search for that same veil (using the manufacturer and style number) online. However, even if someone were searching for my exact veil online, they might never find it without that information.I'm sorry I have no idea either, but wanted to say I also think it is pretty! Good point :)
Where did you buy it? Maybe you could ask them?

Unfortunately, since I bought it used, I don't think they ever had that information. I still have my original receipt, and it is not on that.Where did you buy it? Maybe you could ask them?

Maybe whoever you bought it from might be able to find out from the person they got it from...? I don't know if you want to go to that much trouble, but it's the only thing I can think of. Of course, if it was a consignment store/resale shop then they'll probably have no idea.

@CtPryncess: The veil is for sale right now. I try to avoid "For Sale" posts outside of the classifieds section. However, if you are interested, you can get details at this link (http://sites.google.com/site/2dbride/for-sale#TOC-Veils). (It is the second of the two veils listed.)

Is the other veil available as well? I'm looking for a 2 tier veil.

Yes, the one-tier one has a detachable blusher veil. The two-tier one does not, but you could use one of the tiers as a blusher if you wanted to. Conversely, if you don't want to have a blusher, you could either detach it or use it as a second tier.I just read that is has a detachable blusher veil.

I'm looking at them both and they are both gorgeous. It's hard to decide and I do like the blusher part.

Thanks! If you decide you want one of them, you can contact me using this link (http://sites.google.com/site/2dbride/for-sale#TOC-Contact-form), so that it doesn't all have to be done on a public board.I'm looking at them both and they are both gorgeous.
