I just saw an infomercial for it last night. I personally have never tried it and if I did I would probably die. I heard is not easy. In fact, a lot of people who are going into the military will train with it before they leave for basic because it is similar to what they will have to. FH said that it works but it is really difficult to do.

We own it and while I haven't tried it yet, it has worked well for Jon. He lost 22 pounds in about a month and also gained muscle and looked really good. He had to stop because he got hurt, but plans to start again.
There are a couple of options you can do with the program, I think one's more intense for losing weight and one is less intense and is just meant to tone you. If I do it I will do the second one. It also comes with an eating plan and it's more effective if you follow it, but I don't think that Jon did.
Everyone I know who had tried the program loved it and I've heard a lot of good things about it!

About 5 years ago I did it. Went from 250 to 170. I also went Vegan for two weeks during this time. Most of what I ate was raw with an occasional salmon steak thrown in for fun. It's hard but you really get the results.

Sounds like i'm going to do the less intense, and i looked at the nutrition plan but most of their supplements and drinks and protien bars i can't eat because i have to eat gluten free. The only thing i'm worried about is losing what little i've got going in the chest area, even when i did yoga i lost what i had.:bbconfused: but i do want to be in shape.

I've never tried it, but I do have a funny (not at the time)/painful story about it. Matt's uncle and aunt are cops in AZ. She was doing the program one day, and apparently you have to attach some elastic band to the door? Well she was doing an exercise that involved that and Matt's uncle walks in using the door she had attached the band to. The band snaps off the door because he opened it and it snaps back and breaks her nose!
Not funny at all at the time... something everyone laughs about now :)
I've heard that it is a really good program though. Matt's talked about it before. haha then he usually retells the story I told you. So be careful using elastic bands!

I've heard it is very good, but also very hard. Even the less intense workout. You will get the results, but you have to put the work into it.
FH is thinking about doing that program. He really wants to get back to his High School Lacrosse weight (and I wouldn't mind either ;)). It can get pricey, so I recommend thinking long and hard about what you want to put into it before stepping forward. It's for a more serious workout from what I understand. I suggest sticking to a regular work out and eating plan. Nothing too intense. If you stick with it for a few weeks and feel like you're ready to take it to the next level, then go for the system!
Good luck!

I know several people that have done p90x and swear by it! It is definitely difficult - it's a workout so I suppose it should be! You get results if you put the effort in, just like anything!
If you do it, good luck! I'd love to read a journal of someone doing it! I have it at home, but can't do such intense workouts while :preggo:!

Congrats on a little one comming your way. I havent decided if i'm going to do it now or wait till after the wedding. I really want my dress to fit with out any alterations. But i'm also thinking that the less intense couldn't hurt to bad.
