I was in shock when i heard this also...such a young age. Makes you wonder if there wasn't an underlying heart problem...or sad to say if she had eating disorder , i knew someone who did and she left the same way...so sad regardless, right before christmas...

My guess would be an eating disorder. That's a common way for gals who have them to die... not that there was any reason to think she had one beyond a youthful death :(

Sooo surprised to hear this! She's my age and I couldn't fathom having a heart attack. There've been online reports of drug abuse, which would explain the heart attack. Eating disorder could've been an underlying condition, too. Such sad news, especially for her family during the holidays...

I also heard the drug stories too as recent as a few weeks ago when her husband was rushed to hospital from an airplane.

So so sad....I felt complete shock when I saw it online.....it's like Heath Ledger, Princess Diana, etc.....so sad.

TMZ is now reporting that her husband doesn't want an autopsy done - which sounds so strange to me since she was so young. TMZ is also reporting that they have also heard that she may have had diabetes....but this is likely all speculation.

Thoughts go out to the family especially during this holiday season.

I don't think he has a choice on an autopsy. My understanding is that if the death is suspicious they will do it without families consent. A heart attack at 32 is definately not normal.

Simon Monjack, 39, died of natural causes Sunday night, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner's office.
"There is no evidence of foul play," spokeswoman Lt. Cheryl MacWillie said Monday. An autopsy will be conducted over the next few days, MacWillie said, adding that she did not know when results would be available.
Murphy, 32, the co-star of movies "Clueless" and "8 Mile" suffered a cardiac arrest on December 20 in the bathroom of their Hollywood Hills home. A coroner later ruled her death was accidental and the result of pneumonia, anaemia and "multiple drug intoxication."
The couple had married in 2007.

Perhaps he offed himself? I think it's too much of a coincidence, although drug users often have weak hearts, which is why they die of "natural causes."

I saw that....there are a lot of strange coincidences with Brittany's death...a lot of pill bottles found, both found by Brittany's mom, etc.

It will be interesting to see how it all turns out with the autopsy.
