Ok Fixed it!! We're having 6+ tiers... We're having a big cake with lots of flavors!

We're having 3 tiers. And there's a separate cake (one tier to match the wedding cake) for my kids. It's the "Family Cake" we will all cut together. :D

When I dropped off the contract Saturday at my reception site, an 8 tier wedding cake was being delivered. They do mega weddings at my venue... I'm having a smaller reception for their venue.... My parent's cake had more than 8 layers but they were all separated... we'll see how it goes.

We're not technically having a cake....we are doing a cupcake cake thing with mini pumpkin pies....I'm thinking that the tiers for that will be like 3 or 4....I can't remember what we decided on.

I had a cupcake style cake. I had a 3 tiered stand where the top teir was a small 8' round cake for our top to stand on. The cup cakes were big hearts. The cup cakes were on the other 2 teirs and around the stand on the table. So I had to vote other.

I think ours is only 2 tiers. We aren't going to be saving the top layer, so we figured this was the best way to go.

Ours is 3 tiered, and we are also not saving the top for our anniversary. It will feed everyone though, and since each tier is a different flavor (for no extra cost) it makes it more accessible for everyone.

Bottom layer- chocolate
Middle layer - vanilla
Top layer- pineapple
