Woohoo. :ura1:

It's snowing in the UK.

Boohoo. :bawling:

It's not settling.

Bad news for me because our Cat Elektra has only seen snow once.

Good news for DH because the poor sod is outside working in it. :bbconfused:

Does it not snow often in the UK?

I am in the dark about these things because half of my year is filled with snow and cold!!

Oh how nice Mitch! I wish it would now here... Yesterday Morning it was almost sixty degrees and by 6pm it was back in the thirties...

Enjoy it before it melts!

It rarely snows in the UK. That's why i get all excited. I was out in the car when it fell. Started as sleet when i went out. Then got fluffier and fluffier as i drove around.

We normally get it in late January or February. A White Christmas is like Hens Teeth. :bbconfused:

If it ever snows where we live. Then the rest of the country is fooked LOL.

DH said it was snowing in the City too. Started about the same time.

It's all gone now. :bbcry:

Well glad you got to see a little of it :)

It rarely snows here either, at least not much; I am fine with it cause I am not much a fan ;) We often get a lot of ice and slush though and that can cause problems.

We had a friend visit from Brisbane Australia one year. While he was here it snowed in Brisbane for the first time since records began. We were laughing at the news when they showed Kangaroos hopping around on it.

He has never seen snow. And even drove to Scotland that year to see some. But the Mountains were clear. :bbconfused:

When he went home. It snowed here that Winter. So i went outside and made a Snowball. Put it in the freezer and forgot about it.

The following year he came back for another months visit. So i gave him the Snowball. ;)

You still owe me P&P for international shipping. That snow wasn't cheap to send over seas.

When i was a kid my grandfather told me that some people have never seen snow.I remember thinking that that was the silliest thing I'd had ever heard. After all it did snow every winter.I remember going to my grandmother and telling her what pop said. She just laughed and told me why. After that I wanted to move to a place where it never snowed.

Well peeps. We had a major powercut last night. Every house and street light went out as far as we could see. I heard the neighbours outside. So i stuck my head out. It was pitch black.

Went to bed at 7.30PM to keep warm. I got up an hour later to go to the loo and took a look outside.

Oh my giddy Aunt, there was an inch of white stuff everywhere.

The snow came back. It's still snowing. The roads now have two inches and DH has just driven to work in it. :bbconfused:

I've got no choice but to go out in it later. (BTW it's 5.51AM at the moment, been up since 4 AM). I've got another 18 eBay parcels to send. And a car payment to make. So i can't stay in under the blankie with the Cat. :bbconfused:
