Question about birth control pills

I started taking a new birth control pill on sunday.And I've felt nauseous and I've had a headache also since starting the pill.But I realized today that I don't start feeling like that until a littlle while after I take the pill.So could it be the BC pill making me feel like this??

It could. Are you taking it on an empty stomach?

no.I take them with lunch.But I take them with my vitamin.

Could be the combination of the V and the BC. Also it usually takes a week or two to get used to a new formulation. I know when my meds change I'm usually in for a rollercoaster ride.

I get headaches when I first start or stop BC (I've been going on and off it for years.) They usually are gone within a week. Just your body getting used to the hormone change. If it keeps going on past a week or two I'd call your doctor and see if there's another pill that might be better for you. Sometimes it takes a little trial and error!

Taking the BC with the V is proably what the problem is.This is my second type of BC pill I've had in the last few months.Hopefully it'll clear up soon.

A lot of people have strange reactions to a new BC pill. Usually these things even in out after a couple of months, but headaches are no fun! :(
