Would you peek at your registry gifts, even if you were asked not to?

I would want to wait, but I know I couldnt. My family knows that too, so there wouldnt be a request like that made. My family also knows how important it is that Jonathan and I get the essentials that we need. We'll be keeping track of the things we get so that our budget can handle the things we need to get off our registry.

This was an easy one for me. We don't want any gifts so we have no registry. But I can remember a xmas when I was little. I found all our presents unwrapped in my parents closet and I did peek. I was so bummed on xmas day cause I already knew what I was getting, so no surprises. I learned my lesson not to ever do that again! :D

I am guilty already! I hate surprises, so I like to look. Of course so does Steve so even if we tried not to look, we'd be peaking by the end of the day!

I checked every afternoon when I got home from work. I needed to know what to expect on my porch the next day when the UPS guy arrived or if I needed to add more stuff.

Eric had to hide my Christmas present in the barn and we physically had a wrassling (that's southern for wrestling) match in the hall Christmas Eve cuz I was on my way to take a peek in the bedroom where I knew stuff was hid!

That is exactly the way I am. I am a hard person to surprise, so don't give me any way poss to find out. I hate the waiting game, and I WILL look.:bbeek:

I don't like to peek. I was going to say, maybe because I'm older, but I really feel that I have always been like this. I don't want to know ahead of time. I don't want to wake up Christmas morning and not have anything to look forward to. My kids would drive me nuts to open everything ahead of time. They're not happy just to open their own either, they can't stand for me to have an unopened present under the tree. I personally don't even want to open a card before the day arrives. It drives Amber nuts!!! :D

I was good as a kid. I hate it now. I want to know!! But I don't look, I do hate the disappointment when opening things on Christmas morn too. It's just not the same.

I will not look. I want to be surprised at the shower. I didn't look at my registries for my first wedding or my baby registry. So I know I have the will-power to do it. :bblol:

A sixteen bottle revolving spice rack!! Woohoo! I can clean my cupboards out of the spices finally...It's one of those things I want, but don't think I would ever buy myself.
