After reading the address for kids to send letter to Santa. How about a wish list here? What would you ask Santa for?
Apart from peace on earth and goodwill to all men etc. What would you really want?
Right now i want this **** nose bleed to stop. :bbconfused:
A new roof on the Conservatory.
A new (er) Car for me and a new Van for DH.
To sell everything i have for sale on eBay. Then i can find the spare room under the stuff.
A tea urn.
Tickets to see Nickelback.
A cuddle.

Hmmm... I am having a hard time coming up with a list this year, for some reason. I really want the Twilight movie. DH and I would also love Olive Garden gift cards or Outback Steakhouse gift cards. Mmmm. On the larger end, it would be the absolute best if we could get a house by Christmas. And, another of my wishes will be fulfilled after December 19th... I'll be off from school for a month.

Dear Santa,
I would really like DH to get a job this year. I would also like him to pass the bar exam on the first try. When he gets said job I would really like good health insurance, and is it too much to ask for prescription benefits?
Additionally, I would like for bread and potatoes and other yummy carby things to not have calories.
I would like to be able to freeze time if and when I want to sleep late in the mornings.
And I would also like that great big obnoxiously expensive purse I saw the other day that I will never admit to anyone that I actually considered buying. :winktongue: (Gwen loves her purses...)
Love  Gwen

Hubby and I already bought our "big" christmas present, which was an awesome new video camera. Other than that...
- New coat
- Some cute maternity clothes
- New perfume
Not sure if we will actually be getting each other anything else yet and will probably be getting money from the families which is going straight to savings... so I dunno, lol.

Of course I wish for good will and good health for my family and friends first!
I wish we had more money to be able to do more for our friends and families for Christmas.
I want my turkey to come out looking perfect (it always tastes good, but doesn't always have that perfect color) this year.
If I have to say something for me; how about a new car cause my 16 yr old clunker is on its last leg.
Maybe a Canon DSLR too ... some clothes too would be nice ;)

I wish to get more then 3 hours of sleep on christmas eve.
I wish for my mother the strength to work through her pain and grief. To find some peace in her heart. And to beable to forgive herself.

Shoes
Saint Bernard Puppy
A kitty
Canon Rebel DSLR
New Coat
Vacation
Laptop for DH so he stops stealing mine
Cable tv - with lots of channels!
Not that I'll end up with a single thing on that list but it is sure nice to dream! I guess this year we are going to buy ourselves a flat panel tv for a xmas present.

I want my turkey to come out looking perfect (it always tastes good, but doesn't always have that perfect color) this year.
Have you tried rubbing your turkey with softened butter? That's what I always do with my chicken and turkeys and they usually come out with the nice crispy brown skin.
I guess my Christmas wish list would include:
2 new purses
A pair of flat black dress shoes
4 more place settings of my silverware
Accent plates to match my everyday china
Dinner at the Melting Pot
And a Partridge in a Pear Tree

Mines only four years old too.
Just one on a 07, 57, 08 or 58 Plate would be nice. (That's 2007 or 2008 in English lol). We're looking at a Peugeot 407 at the moment. We've found one we like, just need to sort the finance. In the UK there aren't many on the road. (I drive a Ford Focus at the moment and everyone has one lol) I saw the grand total of three 407's today on a 600 mile trip. ;)

Dear Santa...
I can't say I want much this year! I have been blessed with a new job, a wondeful husband and inlaws and a great set of friends!
If there was something I would truely want it would be
* for more jobs to open up for those who have lost there jobs
* for our troops over seas to be able to be home with thier families for the holidays
* for the homeless to find a warm place to be for the holidays and thru the winter months.
* for Obama to give up on the darn Health Reform bill allready:bang_head:
This is the first year I can ever remember that I don't want anything for myself!

Hmmm I'm having a hard time deciding this year too but here are a couple things:
- a waffle maker
- new bedding for our spare room so when we renovate next year (am getting as I bought it and my parents are paying me back)
- new earrings/necklace as all mine are in yellow gold but my e-ring and band are in white gold
- gift certificates/money
- for DH to have a nice holiday season as his family usually ends up fighting
- not to crash my new car (remember last Christmas Eve?? ;))

What I want more than anything is for FH to get an apprenticeship at a funeral home that's good paying and good health benefits.
And for me to actually figure out what I want to do with my degree.
And I want the kitty I saw at Petsmart/Local Rescue League last week. Both our parents think 3 would be too much. But if she's still there after New Years', I think we might go adopt her.
Other than that I really don't want or need much .. Both our families are asking for lists on what we want, and my list consists of 2 things, a fleece vest and a sudoku game for my DS .. I told my mom we have some things on our registries that people can get us .. And that's what I plan on telling FH's family .. We really don't need anything else

FH is hounding me about starting a Chirstmas list so he can send it to his family. His grandma goes nuts on Christmas and loves buying us things but she needs a list. So far I have: A Wii Fit. That's it! I can't think of anything else I want! I jokingly asked if he sent his grandma my Christmas list... He replied, "It only has one thing on it!!!" hehe. I just thought of two other things, a big fuzzy bath robe and slippers - since the one pair I own are at work. Hmmm.. I will have to get to thinking about this!

a food steamer
these storage bins that fit into my 9x9 cube square
some Christmas decorations
I really want a vacuum cleaner but I haven't found anything I like.

I am awful at making Christmas lists, but since MIL always asks for them I've been working on getting one together.
This year I'd like
funky rainboots
a nice wine rack that doesn't fall over when the cat climbs it
a cute apron (that was on my list last year and didn't happen)
a few pairs of nice thick tights
a set of china from Simon Pearce  (hey it's a WISH list right?!)

I wish our visa petition was already approved.
I wish my father in law was done with his surgery and recovered already.

On my slightly more unrealistic list - I would love for santa to load up his sleigh with all our stuff and move it to the new house for us so we don't have to fool with it. I HATE moving!

Pity i don't live nearer. I would have moved it all in a jiffy. After moving six times in as many years i'm an ol' pro at moving house. ;)

If you count all the times I had to move in and out and in again to the dorms at school, I have probably moved at least 10 times in the last six years. I can do it, I'm just so sick of it I don't want to do it. I don't mind unpacking, but packing everything up makes me want to poke my eyeball out with a fork.
