I spent the entire night last night looking for a first dance song. I found some ideas in my new magazine but wasn't too fond of them.

I love the lyrics to the second song but I couldn't stand the voice of the person singing. I think John Lennon's version would be much better.

the first is cute too. If you don't choose that as your first dance that could be a great last song.

We have a ton of songs picked out for our reception, but we haven't really chosen our first song yet. I'm kinda thinking it will be one of these:

Darnit, I'm going to have to wait until I get back home to listen to those..I'm sitting in the college's computer lab at the moment lol. I haven't picked our first song yet either, I want to pick it with him though. I've always liked "Everything I do, I do it for you" or "Heaven" by Bryan Adams, Or "Because You Loved Me" by Celine Dion.

John Lennon does sing is better but I like Regina Spektor... I think it is unique. FH doesn't really like it but he said if I helped him clean this morning we could use it! hahaha:rofl:

I love Regina Spektor (FH doesn't care for her), but I agree that Lennon's version of that song is better. The song and her quirky style don't really work, at least in my opinion.

The first song (Jack Johnson) is what I walked down the aisle to. I think it's a really sweet song. On the second, I don't care for the voice. Maybe the John Lennon or you never know who else might have recorded it. For our first song we used "To Make You Feel My Love" which I think was originally done by Bob Dylan. It's been remade by everyone from Garth Brooks, Adele to Kris Allen. We used the Kris Allen version since we're American Idol addicts:parp:

We used better together for walking "out"/back together. Our ceremony as outside so it was a little more on the casual side of things but I thought it was awesome.
