My wedding march is going to be the traditional Wedding March by Richard Wagner, pipe organ.
I have a list of slow love songs for slow dancing and will make a list of faster party music too.
For the Maid of Honor and Best Man I was going to have a song for their walk down the aisle, a different song for the bridesmaid and groomsman(if we have those) and a different song for the two flower girls. It is an outside wedding though, we'll have very basic music equipment, most likely one of my cousin's good cd players. I want to keep me and the flower girls, maid of honor, best man,etc out of sight until it's our turn to walk down...there is a metal gate to the flower garden lawn..and I was thinking of having a car drive us to the gate and we'd just wait there, when we hear the music that would be their cue to go. I would cover the gate somehow so they still couldn't see us. I'd have somebody open and shut the gate and just make sure everybody goes at the right time.
But it might be a lot easier just to have one song for them, but I still like the idea of having a car drop us off at the gate so we can wait there without being seen, not sure which way we could best cover the gate though without making it look tacky.
Even if I just pick one song it'll probably either be "Spring" from Vivaldi's Four Seasons or Ode to Joy. I'd rather have something classical, but nice and upbeat, not too slow.
