My grandpa passed unexpectedly January 2002 and I think I want to have a memorial candle for him and I'd like to dedicate a song for him, just kind of my way of letting him "be there" but the only problem is I can't think of any song that really sounds right. Are there any sweet songs that anybody knows of about grandpas? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Only song I can even think of with grandpa in it is the one from the Judd's, don't know if that is appropriate or not.
On the other hand, many love songs could be used. Most of them don't automatically mean romantic love.
What kind of man was your grandpa and how do you feel about him. Use those as basis for picking a song and you can't go wrong.

I did a search and a few things came up. Here's what I found:
I Miss You - by Miley Cyrus
You Raise Me Up - Josh Groban
You'll Be In My Heart - Phil Collins
I Will Remember You - Sara McLachlan
Tears In Heaven - Eric Clapton
My Heart Will Go On - Celine Dion
Hope that helps!

Did your Grandpa have a favorite song? My grandma is no longer with us and her favorite color was red so the flowers on the "rememberence table" that I will set up will be red and I will have her wedding day pic. Also her favorite song was You Are My Sunshine so I will have the DJ play that song for her.
