I voted 'A bit of both' I am generally outgoing and can talk to anyone. But there are times when I can be a bit reserved. I guess it depends on the place and the situation, and of course my mood ;)

DH is usually sort of reserved and laid back around strangers at first. He didn't talk much to my family for a long time. Now if he is around his friends he is quite talkative.

When I was younger I was very shy, ppl that knew me then wouldn't recognize me now ;)

I think I am initially shy; but then, when I get comfortable in the situation, I become outgoing. LOL!!

Shockingly, I am not shy at all. I bet you could NEVER figure that one out. I love the sound of my voice! I am pretty outgoing in social situations. I mean, I'm not going to jump up on a bar and start to dance beause in most circles that isn't acceptable. But I can pretty much talk to anyone about anything and not miss a beat.

I am really shy. I have a hard time when i meet new people because i never know what to say. I always worry that i am going to say somthing stupid. Plus i apperently have a really soft voice and i'm quiet so i got spoken over alot which only makes me not want to say anything more.
It's been hard because it's tough to make friends when you don't say much. I'm trying to battle this at work now and get to know more people so i feel more in place at social events for work.
Then i get people thinking i'm a snob or somthing because i won't talk to them. I feel much more secure in saying something when there is another person i know. I am a bit more outgoing with that secure feeling.

I was very very shy as a child. I am a bit shy now if I dont know any one but you get me with one of my freinds out some where and I can be very outgoing.

Depends on the situation...sometimes I'm outgoing sometimes I'm shy...just all depends on my mood and if I feel comfortable around the people or not.

For me it also depends on the situation and hte people I am around. (And if I'm drinking!! lol) But usually I'm a little shy at first and then bustin out whatever when I feel more comfortable! :)

I am a really outgoing person. FH is kinda outgoing but not nearly as much as I am. Occasionaly (not very often though) I can be shy, but that really depends on what type of situation I'm in. I cant remember the last time I was shy in public.

For me, it really depends on who I am with. If I am by myself in public, I am rather shy and reserved. But, if I'm with someone else and chatting, then I can be quite outgoing. Strange, I know... but then, that's me.. strange!:D
