So I have had some minor cramping off and on today, but didn't think much of it; now it is pain and it is pretty bad ... it is in my lower back and lower abdomen/groin area ... so I think I may have a kidney stone.

I had one before a couple of years ago and it was pretty much the same kind of thing. It is either that or I don't know what.

It is not bad if I am sitting, but when I get up to walk around then it is bad.

I hope it goes away soon! I am trying to drink a lot of water right now.

At least I got out of cooking tonight ... omg it hurts to laugh ... hope it goes away soon!

If it is anything like the last time the pain will go away in a couple of hours.

Unless maybe it is a UTI and not a kidney stone then it may take longer. If I am still in pain in the morning I will go to the Dr.

Aw I'm sorry Brandi! I hope you feel better soon... One of my BM's passes several stones a week because she's got some health issues that are supposedly non treatable. Gawd I'm glad I am not in her shoes.

Please let us know when you feel better!

So what are you guys ordering in? :)

I don't know what we are doing for dinner; I just called and told DH what was going on and I didn't think I could stand to make dinner.

So he is gonna call when he is closer to home and I guess we will decide then. I will ask him to bring me some cranberry juice too, just in case.

The pain is subsiding some; it is still terribly uncomfortable, but no excruciating anymore.

Oh Brandi, that does not sound pleasant. I hope it lessens as the evening goes by.

Thanks guys!

I talked to my sister who is just out of school for a medical assist, she said lots of water and try to walk around to help it pass. Lets hope it works.

I took some ibuprofen and have been drinking lots of water. I feel much better now, still a little crampy, but not bad.

Hopefully the worst is over.

Thanks guys; I am fine now ... not sure if what I had was a kidney stone or something else, but glad it is gone!
